I visited a few times while on vacation. Very nice and casual atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and receptive to requests for specific sports games. Food was fine and they have daily specials. Parking can be limited but overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Good food, poor service. Recent increase in prices has reduced our visits. $ 10.95 for a chili dog, oh my. Vacationers might pay it but doubtful locals will keep the doors open in the winter. Someone should open a sports bar there. ;)

Excellent find in Franklin. Meghan behind the bar was very friendly and so were the locals. Food looked good and the locals said to definitely eat here. We will be back tomorrow.

We go to Mulligans every time we come to Franklin. Good food at a decent price. Very friendly staff. We usually sit at the bar and have met some nice people here. Lot of locals. Give it a try!

Nice place for a small town sports bar/​hangout friendly staff and the regulars are a good mix of people.

Solid food and good atmosphere, however felt as if the service was a bit sub par. We waited for an hour and a half before we received our food. Overall experience with the management was less than understanding. In the end I would advise going somewhere else.

We stopped by one evening before doing last minute Christmas shopping. It was our first time there and we were very pleased. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was great! highly recommend.

The food was GREAT, the service, not so much.
We got up and asked the waiter for menus. We got up to get our refills. We got up to get butter, a spoon. We had to get up to get the cole slaw. However, the food was really really good.

Super friendly service, clean. We were there in the middle of the afternoon; unfortunately we didn’t have food, but the beer was cold and the place had a good «hang out» vibe that we would go back to if we find ourselves in Franklin again.

A very nice place to get a beer, cocktail and something to eat. They have a large area at the bar with televisions to watch sports or large booths. A nice selection of draft beers. We tried their $ 7.95 ½ lb burger and it was awesome. The staff was friendly and attentive. They have daily specials on food and drinks so our draft beers were $ 2. I highly recommend this place.

Nice place, we are from a large city and couldn’t find anything else open. Found this place and glad we did. Great food, fun atmosphere, great service. RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

The bartenders are pretty good here. Sometimes it sucks to try to get a drink when it’s packed, but it’s understandable when they’re sufficiently packed.
Most of the food I’ve had there was great.
Not always a fan of the patrons that come and go, but I think it’s a well run place.

It took me a while to decide between 3 stars (A-​OK) and 4 (Yay! I’m a fan). I had to decide whether I was rating this based on all of the bars I’ve ever been to or whether I was rating it as a bar in small town North Carolina where alcohol at an establishment was brown bag at best until just a few years ago.
I went with the latter and rated this strictly as an establishment within the small town of Franklin.
It’s a pretty typical bar, though I’d say it lands somewhere in the middle of being a dive and a sports bar. The push is definitely for it to be a sports bar, but the clientele varies so much (because there are so few bar choices in this town) that it’s almost impossible to cater to strictly a sports-​loving crowd.
I’ve only eaten a few things here, but everything I’ve tried is good, the service is generally pretty good, there’s a solid beer selection, and a full bar for all your liquor needs.
It is a small town though, so definitely count on seeing people you aren’t particularly thrilled to see and for patrons and staff alike to be somewhat wary of you if you’re an outsider.
I’ll definitely be back the next time I visit, and not just because it’s one of my few options.
