The best pizza I have ever had there ultra thin sound boring but the happy family is so good I’ll take it over a steak and must have it once or twice a month killer pizza not cheap but worth every penny

Stopped in for a fast lunch yesterday, had excellent food, great service and can’t wait to come back and try out more on the menu! Great atmosphere. Very chill, and the food was amazing!!! Nice to find places like this!

We are SO DONE with this place! Tasty pizza, but we went last and waited an hour for pizza with practically no one in the restaurant. It was a fluke, right? We’ll give them another chance.
Tonight, we ordered a pizza at 5:45 for our anniversary (the fancy meal is this weekend). At 7:00, STILL NO PIZZA! It’s not a fluke, it’s their new policy to make you wait. Worst of all, the manager didn’t seem overly concerned.
Boycott for life!!! We’re done!!!

Pizza is amazing. Wish I lived closer! I’ve never had an issue with service and I’ve come in with a group of anywhere from 2 people to 30. After working in the restaurant business I can see why a server may be hard to find (as in all these families bringing in their 5 kids and their 10 coupons). Don’t let the negative reviews turn you off. Try PITS!

While I am a fan of the pizza, the service is a bit sloppy. I can’t tell you how long I waited to be seated while watching several other customer who came in after me seated. Dealt excuse after excuse why that was the case. If it were not for my kids really wanting to eat here, I would have left and went somewhere else. Very disappointed…

If you love the pizza like I do, PLEASE GET IT TO GO! The service is so terrible the pizza cannot even make up for it. Manager will hang out behind the bar ignoring your waving. Servers are doing «something» other than taking your order, even after the third time asking for a refill, a replacement salad (brown lettuce, rotting veggies), or a third plate when only two are brought. We absolutely love the pizza here, and the Lennox village location has greatly improved, but we will NOT be back to the cool springs location.

The pizza is good and keeps us coming back on occasion. But it’s loud when it’s busy (kids everywhere), and sometimes the service is great and sometimes it’s bad. Also, last time I went the bathrooms were dirty and the toilet paper holder damaged and hanging off the wall. I wish management would take more pride in the place.

Surprised the average rating is three star. If you want a great pizza and cheesy bread appetizer, look no further than here. Great tasting pizza, brick oven taste, good atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Great pizza and there meatball sandwich was outstanding it was huge and very tasty. Service was quick and friendly. I have gone to this location for a long time and never been disappointed. I don’t know why some said it was very noisy unless it was the lunch crowds, I avoid those times anyway.

We were heading down to Cool Springs Galleria to do some shopping for my grand baby’s first Christmas and decided to try «Pie in the Sky Pizza»…and we were pleasantly surprised!!!
Our waiter was Michael.
we were seated greeted immediately in the bar area near the many televisions so we could watch college football.
We ordered the small 9 inch «Happy Family» Pizza, the baked stuffed mushrooms with ranch dipping sauce and the Froccocia Bread with dipping oil”…he ordered a Budweiser or two in the bottle. they only had lite on draft. and I ordered Unsweetened tea with lemon/​lime.
He delivered everything together at the same time!
It was delicious. Just the right size. just the right amount… No leftovers!!!
We both agreed we would eat there again!
Might try something different but would eat there again.
The pizza was great!

Not crazy about the bread and oil. but we we would eat there again!
Michael was very nice and very attentive.
Then we went to the mall to walk it off. we were both STUFFED !!!

We have been to Pie in the Sky a few times before. Pizza was good, service was ok. However, since I’m just now writing my review, I will discuss our latest visit.
This past weekend my husband graduated from college. I wanted to choose a gathering place for us all that would be casual and spacious with good food, and Pie in the Sky was teh perfect option right in the middle of where we all live.
The server we spoke to over the phone was very helpful in making sure they’d have a table ready for us when we arrived if at all possible. He explained weekend nights are hit or miss there. We called right before leaving and he got a manager on the phone who assured us they’d do their best to accommodate us upon arrival.
We were able to be seated with no wait (they had slowed down some). As soon as we got there they offered to put the Graduation Cake they allowed us to bring in into the cooler. Our server was very attentive and we never were without drinks, plates, or anything we needed. The pizza was DELICIOUS, as were the stuffed breadsticks and artichoke dip we had for appetizers.
When it was time for cake the server brought us new plates, forks, and even a pizza «scooper» to use to serve cake.
I would definitely go back here both for the pizza and for the convenience of a larger party setting.

It’s been several years since our last visit to PITS. And now I remember why. It’s LOUD. Really LOUD. Impossible to carry on any sort of conversation with your table loud. Sure — it’s attractive to families, who consider a loud restaurant to be an excuse to let the kids go wild. I have kids, and understand the sentiment. Perhaps some sort of acoustic treatment or subdivision of the space could help. But it is what it is — a family friendly pizza place with room for tons of people in mostly one big room. So, I’d be giving 4 stars if not for the noise…
Our server was friendly, sufficiently attentive, and apologetic when the kitchen accidently put peperoni on the whole pizza, instead of just half. Which really wasn’t a problem since the other half already had sausage and bacon. We got some free pep… 11 year happier for the add and I’m not complaining either. Server offered to refire a medium with just the sausage and bacon, but was not necessary.
Pizza chips and spinach were an interesting take on a standard, and above average. Pizza itself is above average. Maybe not quite as good as Mellow Mushroom, but better than any of the other chains.
Honestly, to those that said it is expensive, I’m not sure I agree. Total for appetizer, large 2 topping pizza and drinks was $ 32 after tax. I’m not aware of a cheaper sit down pizza (or other) restaurant that will be less than that for 4 people.
When we arrived, the wait was said to be 15 minutes. By the time I had parked and come in, they were ready for us, so no problem there.

Great fresh pizza. They offer various thickness and many toppings. My pizza was very fresh and had a good crunch to the bread.
I visited durning an earily evening on a Monday and the service was a little slow. Perhaps they were just taking it easy… but in my opinion, slow times should allow you to give the very best service possible

Honestly, the pizza here is great, but the atmosphere– being Cool Springs… well you just have to be okay with a LOT of families with a LOT of kids being pretty LOUD.
I guess it all depends on when you go, too. If family time isn’t your style, steer clear of the weekends. But, again, it’s Cool Springs…
I do like this place, and I will continue to go, but the acoustics make it seem like you are in a McDonalds playplace. If you can overlook that, go for it.

Very unfriendly! Used to be good years ago but they seem to have gotten very comfortable. Use to be a regular and now I only come when forced by friends. Expensive and rude! Bad combo for any business. I hope they can figure it out sometime soon. Business looks like it is failing from the lack of customers.

Pizza is decent. Service is good… BUT. Our group has been meeting at Pie in the Sky for quite some time. Management doesn’t appreciate regular customers, not do they appreciate the added value we bring as we promote our meeting at their store.
Today, we were forced to share the meeting room with another group. The noise level didn’t allow our group to have an effective meeting. Our guests didn’t get the effect we were looking for them to get nor did our members.
I know the owners work hard to market the location and to make a profit, but their Assistant Manager didn’t get the message as I had a conversation with him about it. He didn’t seem to care at all the value we bring.
As expected, we’re taking our regular business to another restaurant that will appreciate the business

Not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but still tasty. And along with everyone else I have to say that the service is kinda «meh.» Not coming back anytime soon unless I got a kid who wants a pizza party but I’d still look for a less expensive option first.

Been there a few times. Kids like the (play) dough. Pizza is decent, a ton of options.
Fairly pricey for what it is. Service is always marginal (seems to get better at the end of the meal).

Greasy. Overpriced. Not impressed.
