Yummy, yummy! It’s been a while since we visited Popcorn Village… I didn’t realize how much I’ve missed this place! All my favorite flavors were there waiting for me to try! My fav is still Caramel with White Cheddar(Village best). Butter Delight is a close second and great for movie night! It’s the best of both worlds… butter and cheese! Stop by and enjoy the best gourmet popcorn in town!

Received popcorn in a office gift bag and shared with my family upon my return to Kentucky. My son liked it so much we decided to purchase as a gift for Christmas. My wife placed to order over the phone and the person at the store said they would get it out in time before Christmas. Not only did the popcorn not arrive before Christmas, it is now 12⁄29 and do we still have not received. We’ve called and they said they would look into our order but they have our $ 70+ dollars and we have nothing.

I can’t understand how this place is still in business. The prices are HIGHWAYROBBERY. Unbelievable what they are charging. Couple that with an unattractive interior with giant food service tubs full of popcorn and brain-dead teenage employees and you have a disaster. $ 18 dollars for the equivalent of a large movie theater tub(at best) of Chicago style. The flavor was unimpressive — there was even some mint flavor crossover where i guess they didn’t clean the equipment. Save your kids’ college funds and order from Moose Head Kettle Corn instead.

This is one of our family favorites. That being said, we do feel that it is very expensive and therefore do not frequent them. It is a great fun to see all of the flavors and to sample a couple. I would be willing to pay for a «sampling» session or party. My favorite is «Cinnamon», which is kind of like«red hots» popcorn; very good!

Not bad popcorn but it is very over priced. I wasn’t impressed with what we bought and my son who LOVES flavored popcorn only ate a small amount of his. I feel we wasted our money here when we get a better deal at the farmers market. I doubt we will be back :(

This popcorn is great. They have a large variety so you are sure to find something you like. The strawberry cheesecake is my favorite so far. I ordered 8 gallons for a bridal shower and it was a hit. I had about 4 cups left after all was said and done.

My oh my oh my OHMY! I am sooo glad that I stopped by this place while celebrating my cousin’s birthday in the Cool Springs and Franklin area. We had just got done eating lunch and I was flipping through my Nashville City Saver book,(most of my reviews will be because of my Nashville City Saver book, ha!) We walked in and I was just breathless! THISISPOPCORNHEAVEN!!! There were big tubs of various popcorn flavors behind the counter and I was just in a whirlwind! SOMUCH flavored popcorn ranging from cheesy, spicy, buttery, sweet, sugary, savory, etc. YOUNAMEIT! The little nice lady at the counter informed us of the prices of the popcorn on the opposite end of the wall. Each flavor category such as butter, cheese, candied, & chocolate flavors each had different prices and sizes according to what you’d like. Obviously the buttered and cheese popcorn flavored ones are the cheapest averaging about $ 7 for a decent size bag for one. We sampled the watermelon flavored popcorn and she stated that the rainbow flavored(various flavors the candied mixed in one tub) seems to be the most popular amongst children. I ended up buying the rainbow flavored. The candied popcorn was so addicting but I felt the need to brush my teeth afterwards! But worth the munch! My next purchase ended up being the Chicago Style cheese, a mixture of caramel and cheese popcorn. Now that was very tasty. The cheese is so cheesy and the caramel was perfect! I have sampled the popcorn they sell at the Opry Mills stand and it cannot compare to Popcorn Village!

Got 4 bags in a gift basket, three tasted pretty good, one — cheeseburger — was terrible. I called and let them know we liked the others but everyone thought the cheeseburger had an off, unpleasant taste. One star review because they asked«Well what do you want me to do about that?» My response was that I would assume a small company that made flavored popcorn would welcome me to stop by and try some other flavors and get a replacement. With the thought that my going into the store would help drive me to be a repeat customer even buying some more than the one replacement on that visit. But they did not, they shunned me and stuck me with a high profit margin item that they could have easily afforded to replace. So for customer service this store gets a one star review and I will not go or recommend to anyone!

I recently purchased a medium bag of caramel popcorn for my husband for Christmas. I probably should have tried it before purchasing a $ 32 bag of popcorn. The pros — nice big pieces of popcorn with great coverage. The cons — the caramel didn’t really taste caramelly. I realize that’s not a word but I don’t know how else to describe it. It just tasted like sugar but had the look of caramel. I guess the sugar had not heated long enough to get the distinct caramel flavor. My grandmother gives us small batches every Christmas and hers totally kicks this places butt. Even my kids agreed. Unfortunately her batches are smaller every year as she has to divide it amongst our ever growing family. Another con which someone else mentioned is the very confusing price board. I could never find a price for just plain old caramel popcorn. The very nice girl at the counter just had to tell me. And it stinks that the board is on the wall that you never look at unless you knew it was there. You walk in and immediately go towards the service counter and so the price board faces your back. How about posting on the front of the counter as well or painting a big sign on the front of the counter that says, turn around for pricing? It doesn’t matter to me because honestly, we won’t be back. Not wowed at all.

Love this place… sort of. I spend too much money there and it’s a loooong drive, but we find ourselves there just about every weekend now. Those are the only cons — and spending too much money only means they have a lot of good flavors — so nothing bad with PV at all. Lots of flavors, all fresh and ready to be eaten. Girls have been super friendly and allowed us to taste test what we wanted to try and were helpful with suggestions of pairing and mixing. So popcorn is great Service is great 5 stars from me.

This is a decent little place. It’s got a lot of flavors, and the girl behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. She humored me by letting me try like four different flavors, one of them even though I’d made my purchase. There are a a lot of flavors, but they don’t pop: they taste like you’d think they’d taste. It’s a neat little gimmick, but it’s not something that I’d feel the need to go again.

Man, this place is Corny. My love for popcorn goes back to about 40 years ago to the experience of candy coated popcorn at Pixie Playland(SF Bay Area). It was a special treat. And when my uncle took retirement and got a part-time job at Karamel Korn in the mall. My quest to find great popcorn has put me in planes, trains, taxi, and other cars… all in a quest to relive this childhood fav of mine. As I approached the Popcorn Village, my eyes were big with anticipation. They first noticed huge shelves with huge buckets of popped corn. My first focused gaze was on a flavor that included the word«crab»…OMG! A popcorn that tastes like crab, why?! I’ll cut to the chase in terms of this review and the experience in the store… I asked for a small bag of «Chicago Mix»(Caramel and Cheddar) and the clerk was very kind when she replied they don’t have a mix. They have bucket full of popcorn coated with both flavors, but she suggested that I get a bag layered with Caramel and Cheddar… creating a mix just right for me. I took her suggestion and was the winner for it! Is it Garrett’s in Chicago? No, but they haven’t had the kazillion years to perfect it. It’s great, it’s local, and closer than Chi-town. While I was there, another customer came in and she started making her requests, it sounded to me as if she was ordering appetizers at TGI Fridays… buffalo chicken, ranch, etc. She was excited and told me about the many other flavors she has tried there and loves all of them… including the crab dip. For me? I like it caramel coated, cheese coasted, and, of course, butter coated. In the end… I am lucky to have access down the road from the house to eat a childhood fav and can save my travels for something more than a quest for popcorn.

Love this place, great food, friendly people, very unique mix of flavors. I like the Jalepeno Cheddar the best!
