Shoney’s Restaurant

The food was good! The waitress was very nice, and it was clean. I had a vary good experience there!

Terrible. Food, servers, service and quality. Just disgraceful. The mens bathroom stank of stale urine. One of the servers, Deb, expects you to get out of her way. So disappointed in everything, and with the plethora of other options, they will not see me or my $ again.

I will never go back to this place and I am not sure they want me to. The manager up front had the personality of a corpse. I only gave it one star because our server was really trying. While we were there someone quit. While we were there some odd presentation was going on in the back in one of the rooms. The food did not give me food poisoning and that is the best compliment I can give it.

Oh heck no. Worst mistake ever. So much for nostalgia. This Shoney’s was the pits. So much so that I think the buffet was populated with food from 1986 and reheated 1 gazillion times. Skip it. Roll on to some other place. I should have found a mom and pop joint but I was in a hurry. The best part was the lollipop at the register and the shower later that night.

Breakfast won’t look like that picture on here that’s for sure! Raw bacon cold biscuits that were frozen to start with just save yourself from 15 mins of diarreah and go somewhere else

OK, so i wrote the original review a couple years back and a LOT can change in that time.
In all fairness, it may be me who has changed but I now forbid our family from eating here. The servers who took great care of us are gone and the food is… well… mass produced, low quality, fatty food.
Plus one of the servers is always SUPER sweaty and looks like he’s going to have a heart attack. I’m grossed out even writing this!!!
Sorry Shoney’s on Hwy 96, you’ve joined the rest of the Shoney’s out there… I always like an underdog story but I can’t support you any longer!

I liked it a lot, the food was great. Personally I think the buffet is a better deal than ordering a plate of food, if you get the buffet. You can get unlimited food and there is so much variety. The only thing I don’t like is the prices of the drinks you get one glass of juice for three dollars and there are no refills. Other than that they have great food and service and free wifi.

I’m there most Saturday mornings with the Gideons. Staff always takes good care of us.
