Well-stocked, great selection, nicely laid-out. The beer cave is a nice feature. I visited this store after learning that the guy who runs it lives in my neighborhood. I had a good experience. I then decided to try them out for a keg of beer and they let me down big time, so 2 stars overall(the rest tells of the big disappointment). I called around looking for a keg of german beer and when nobody had one in stock I had these guys look up the pricing and availability so I could order one. Somebody called me back with prices for a few kegs and I told them to get me the Spaten. This was on a Wednesday I think, and hey told me they’d have it by Friday. They were supposed to call me when it came in. They never called, so I called them on Saturday to ask if it was there. It was not and I was told that the guy who orders them was on vacation and would be back Monday. I told them that it would have been nice for them to call me to tell me that I would not be getting it for the weekend like I had planned(and communicated to them). So I asked them to order me one when that guy came back. Fast-forward a few days(the following Saturday), and I call again to see if it’s there yet. I get transferred to a manager who apparently did not get the message that I ordered this keg. That would have been fine with a simple apology or whatever. Instead this guy on the phone acts like it’s my fault. He says all he has is a note(the first note they took) about looking into German keg prices and that he can’t stock them all and that I need to pick one. me:i did, i ordered a keg of spaten(i’m a friendly guy, especially when beer is the subject, and i am speaking with a calm, frienldy tone throughout). him: who did you speak to? I didn’t get an order. I can’t fix this if I don’t know who you spoke to me: I don’t know who I spoke to; it was whichever employee of yours took my order. That’s probably something for you to figure out, not me. him: more of the same, excuses, rude tone, nothing i could do, you need to order from me, etc me: you sound awfully defensive. you let me down, but seem to think it was my fault. You’re not going to simply say«hey, I’m sorry, we dropped the ball on this. we’ll get the keg asap and make it right» him: oh yeah I’m sorry then. blah blah blah, rude tone, deflecting blame, assigning it to me, i get this on my desk when i’m back from vacation, etc, blah blah, it’s your fault, not mine, etc. me: you let me down, I have to just get this from someplace else. him: fine then do that(in a 4 year old tantrum tone). Ugh… pretty inexcusable behavior. I’m not from Jersey, I just moved here from NC. Maybe I’m just not used to dealing with azjolls as much as you have to in Jersey. This guy was clearly being one when i spoke to him(in addition to totally dropping the ball, twice). There are plenty of other places; I think I will buy my kegs someplace else and don’t think I will be back to this store.

Incredible selection of bourbon, including some that are hard to find elsewhere, and the wine selection is very good as well. But watch out for the tags explaining and promoting the wines. It’s very common to find a tag for the 2013 Estancia Merlot, for example, when the bottles on the shelf are for 2014. It’s a very deceptive practice.

Outstanding selection of wine and beer. live music is great while shopping. Also they have beer right from the tap you can bring home which is awesome. The staff lacks knowledge of diffrent beers.

Beer cave, great selection of wines and cheese, a freezer full of jäger and other cordials, what else could a guy want. Too bad I can’t give it 6 stars.
