Terminix

We have used Terminex in another state and began using Terminex from Franklin 12 yrs. ago. They service our home in Dickson Co. We have termite and regular spraying services. Though we find the phone call center frustrating, we can ignore it because the technicians that come to our home are exceptional. Our regular quarterly service… in 12 yrs. we have had 3 techs. One only came once. The other 2 have been amazing. They feel like friends and neighbors. We know they can be trusted to give us their best. They not only know the home and its needs, but when new things come up they take the time to teach us on prevention, what they are doing. Many times, chemicals aren’t even needed, or just a one time and then we take their advice and the problems are solved. Have referred new customers to them at least 5 times in 12 yrs. and all the people to whom we referred them (many have the same tech) love their service just as much. The only reason I give 4 and not 5 is the customer phone service. It stinks since they centralized it out of Franklin. The techs in the home are EXCELLENT.

Very deceptive practices. I signed up for the Terminix Termite Ultimate Protection Plan and paid monthly for years. Now I have termites but they say the type of termite I have isn’t covered by their ultimate protection plan. What a rip off.

Fraud! We paid over $ 250 for an inspection and «certificate» that never happened. The «technician» had the audacity to claim he had a signature on file, the inside and out inspection was done (we were home), crawlspace was inspected (we have slab construction), and left no paperwork. Be very aware of what gets slipped past you.

I paid Franklin TN sales manger Scott Wright 5 k in January for plastic wrap, de humidifier etc and additional 1 k for sump pump to wrap my crawl space that they said was dangerously damp. He said the de humidifier would have a monitor in house to show moistier etc. but between the de hum and the sump crawl space would be dry. He did work said all was good. We called a few times about monitor we never got. But assumed even without it that the units were working. I just went into crawl space! Finally found the TINY de humidifier electrical cord STILL wRAPPED IN PLASTIC NEVER TURNED ON, TESTED… Nothing! Found the sump pump. In an ankle deep pool of water. fULL OF WATER. ELECTRICAL cord hanging there NEVER PLUGGEd IN or TESTED EITHER. We were assured we were «good to go» by Scott.

Great company, stands by their customers! Recently had evidence of termites, and the entire house was treated the next week. Everyone that has come to my home has been great to work with.

We have had pest service with several «local» companies. We have been disappointed in how they nickel and dime you. We finally have moved all of our business to Terminix. They are great to work with and go above and beyond what is required.
