We are so grateful to Bethe Smith and The Red House for helping to make our May wedding a dream come true. The day could not have been more perfect! Bethe is so helpful, calm, and works very hard behind the scenes for each event. As a DIY bride on a budget, I worried a lot about creating the perfect day. The wedding day went smoothly and beautifully, thanks to Bethe. She was amazing as a day-of coordinator. Throughout the planning process, she was accessible and very helpful. We could not have done this without her. The best wedding planning decision we made was choosing the venue and Bethe!

The Red House is a meeting or event venue located in Historic Downtown Franklin. This past Thursday, 19 of my co-workers and I attended an all day event at The Red House. The venue offers a wide open space for groups from size of 5 to size of 30. I probably would not do a meeting with more than 30 at the venue, as I think the space might be a little bit tight of a fit for that many people. Décor: Hard woods floors are surrounded by walls with music paraphernalia on them. There are albums with faux-gold records, real music posters from events from the 60s, 70, 80s, and 90s. The music ranges from Bob Dylan to the Beatles to Tom Petty and even back to the King(Elvis). In one of the corners of the main room, there are signatures on the walls from country crooners, song writers, and rockers a like. I recognized a couple of names like Rodney Crowell in the signatures. You can also have food catered through the venue, which we did. It was fairly decent. I’d probably have rather walked to one of the restaurants(like Frothy Monkey) in Downtown Franklin, but if it is cold out or you want to have a working lunch then you can count on the food to be pretty decent. Downsides: They don’t have a large projector screen. You have to bring in your own. That kind of stinks.
