I would say that this is one of my favorite things to do. Meet friends, share a beer that will open your taste buds or a bottle of wine that will open your eyes. Some nights we even kick back to some live music at the place. Great outdoor patio that has an atmosphere that makes you forget you are next door to a Taco Bell. On the selection side, the beer is second to none. If you want Bud Light, go somewhere else. It if you want Hoppin Frog Brewery, you are in the right place. My favorite is the Boris The Crusher Russian Imperial Stout. I also went to a private party there and it was a nice place for it! Bottom line, it’s a laid back, cool experience and if you want, they will throw in great advice on their entire product line.

A mind boggling selection of wines, beers, acoustic music… and cribbage. What more could anyone ask for? Plus, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Heck, the guy that helped me pick a bottle didn’t even bat an eye when I responded that my favorite vineyard was Boones Farm…

Was there 10÷16÷15, 4 of us. Got a nice booth in the front and had no clue what to do but logic said grab a bottle off the rack that we wanted to try… we went to the register to buy, have it opened and get some glasses. We did that a few times over 3 and a half hours and had such a relaxing time. Read online that we could bring in our own snacks and we hesitantly did that and it worked out perfect and was so affordable. We’ll bring more food next time or order in! I can’t wait to go back on a Saturday for a free wine tasting or in the summer when we can sit on the really nice patio. Friday is live music and the band that played seemed diverse and I was sad our friends were ready to go about a half hour into that part. But safety first! Will surely go back!

I have been here twice. The service has been very good & helpful in selecting a particular beer. They have a wide variety of craft beers & wine you can purchase & take home or drink in their lounge or outdoor setting. They do allow you to buy single bottles so you don’t have to buy a 6-pack of beer. They do not sell food but allow food to be taken in or delivered.

Owner will not honor gift certificate purchased directly from the establishment. My husband and I received a gift certificate as a wedding gift last year. Unfortunately, we did not note the 1 year expiration on the certificate. When I called to inquire with the owner, Jim he refused to honor because of expiration date and offered no concession(barely over 1 year). Unfortunate, we were looking forward to checking this place out, but will chose another establishment. The gift was not purchased from Groupon or a third party source, but from the store directly. We have our copy, it was not lost.

This is a gem. Not your typical strip mall establishment. Wide variety of beer and wine. Excellent tap selections too. They chill your beer in fancy little machines. No TVs, but I didn’t it. We had a happy hour gathering of about 12 people and we brought our own snacks in. They don’t serve food… It would be nice if they had some simple cheese plates. Overall its exactly what they say it is(coffee bar with beer/wine instead of coffee) and they do it very well.

I think I would describe Three Cellars as a «coffee shop» for wine and beer drinkers, except with a lot more variety to choose from. One wall is stocked with wine bottles. The opposite wall is stocked with beer bottles. I haven’t picked up any wine but I’ve been impressed with the beer selection. Every Saturday afternoon, Three Cellars offers free beer and wine tastings. There is comfortable lounge furniture near the front of the store where you can relax and enjoy one of their fine beverages. Go to their website to sign up for the free Beer Cellar or Wine Cellar Club for discounts and email alerts. They also have a beer garden to enjoy during warm weather months. They might not have the inventory of the larger liquor stores but you can’t drink at the other liquor stores either. You just have a corkage fee unless you upgrade your club membership. It’s worth a visit.

I have been conducting a research study of wine and human [social] psychology(Yes. For the fun of it.). I knew that I had to hit every local wine bar to really gauge what draws us to them. Good excuse, right? Three Cellars has much more than your standard selection of wine; they have plenty of beers to choose from and a great patio. Plus, you get great wine value for the price. However, there was something that broke my cork: the oeno-tender’s repetitive pitch on the wine– and beer-by-the-glass options offered the day I dropped in. Each person that walked up to the bar received the same description – ver batim – on how the Malbec is «laughingly referred to as ‘liquid crack» and how«Germans don’t make lagers, etc.» As I sat sipping my misnomer Malbec, I was disappointed to hear the broken record AND by how nonaddictive my wine was. I task the staff with being aware of customers, so each one is treated to a new introduction of their wine and beer offerings. Keep it fresh and less sterile, so customers feel the genuine, personal touch that seems otherwise present when first greeted in the shop.

The owner is a really nice guy who is passionate about his business. I love the selection and if they don’t have it, they will try and get it for you. My favorite thing is the wine and beer tastings. It makes me more confident when I purchase a bottle of something I’ve never tried before. I did like the 27th Street location better, but it’s still worth the visit.

If you like good quality beer of a wide variety, this is the place to go. We live in Glendale, but regularly make the 30 minute drive. They have a whole wall of domestic and imported beers. You WON’T find the mainstream brands like Miller, Bud, Coors, etc. But you will find a tremendous range of great beers. And you can mix up your own six packs. On Saturdays they have free beer and wine tastings, generally based on some sort of theme. The owner and staff couldn’t be nicer and are clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about beer and wine.

Wisconsin has a lot more breweries than many people think. Three Cellars offers a large majority of them, but that’s not all — they also have the largest open stock beer selection in town. Seriously. It’s tremendous. A giant wall of largely-Midwest beers, all individually priced and ready to be mixed into your own six pack. Looking for a variety pack of O’so or Lakefront brews? Too bad, because they don’t make them. Three Cellars is here to help you out. If you’re into the foreign beer market, they have just as many varieties to offer here, too. I didn’t think you could have this many varieties of beer and wine under such a small place in a strip mall, but Three Cellars finds a way. They also have some nice sitting space and a small bar in the back where they hold tasting events. I’m in love.
