We went here for the Holly Trolley Christmas Light Tour. It was a good little experience, especially if you have some youngsters. Everyone meets up at the trolley station in Franklin and they serve you hot chocolate and cookies while you wait for everyone to arrive. You then board a trolley, which is enclosed and heated I might add, very nice. They take you around to 3 – 4 different neighborhoods that are all lit up. You get to see the nice big houses that go all out and put on crazy light displays. Everything about the trip was great. The adults had just as much fun as the kids. The price was decent as well at $ 15 person for about and hour and half trolley ride. The only thing I wish they would change is to visit more neighborhoods or at least ones that are closer. We drove 20 minutes to a neighborhood to see 3 – 4 houses lit up. Now, provided they were SUPER decorated houses, but still that is 40 minutes of road time. More than half of the trip it self. Other than that, it was great and you see a total of 12 – 15 well decorated houses. I suggest trying it once if you never have. Order tickets as soon as they become available each year, as they sell out in hours. It’s that popular.
