I was referred to Vallee Jewelers by my local antique shop to get a repair on a 1920’s pin. I’m sure the work done here is quality, however I have to agree with the other reviews that say the service is lacking at best.
When I asked for a professional opinion I was told «that’s your decision, not mine». I was pretty much dismissed by the woman working, who wouldn’t let me speak to the jeweler I had been referred to go see, even though I was the only customer in the store and he was right behind a wall.
When I asked for an estimate, I was told that an estimate couldn’t be provided until the jeweler began the work on the piece…
My trip here was frustrating at best. The best part of the trip was definitely the girl scouts selling cookies outside on the corner. These 9 – 11 year olds had the customer service aspect down to a T!

Hate to say it, but these reviews are correct. This place is very expensive, they wanted 3x the price for a similar, but lower tw, diamond pendant as one of their local competitors. Very unhelpful sales staff. I was the only customer in the store and it was a big inconvenience for her to help me. Should have read the reviews first.
Not sure how a local business can operate that way.

I was in the area visiting my brother wearing a watch with a dead battery. I waited for the watches to get fixed because i explained i wasnt from the area and it was no problem. I walked out with my watch done in under 20 mins! Wasn’t expensive either! I referred my brothers gf to get her jewelry fixed too!

I decided to get a head start on Valentines Day this year. I wanted to do something special and decided to do something custom. My GF had a family piece that recently broke and she had been talking about getting it made into earnings. This seemed like a perfect opportunity for me to avoid the mistakes made previous years.
I found Vallee Jewelers, which was not too far away from me and brought in the broken necklace I had. The jewelers there helped me salvage some of the stones from the necklace and pick out some addition stones and fittings for the earnings. We sat down and designed the right layout for the new piece and it turned out amazing!
So this marks the first year I may have made the right move on Valentines Day. Now the hardest part will be waiting for the day to come. And I have not figured out how I will address the question of the broken jewelery missing yet, but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.

I found Vallee’s very expensive and their customer service nothing to write home about. I had them take one link out of a resin-​strap watch. The two employees were sitting in the store with no other customers, yet I had to drop it off and pick it up a day or two later, and it was $ 17!
