I arrived via ambulance with terrible pains, was quickly diagnosed with appendicitis. Made myself and wife feel right at home. Kept us well informed of the process and kept me comfortable. They even played my favorite music (Metallica) as I was rolled into the operating room. I felt way better immediately after waking from anesthesia. Stayed the night and was released the next day thanks to a caring staff and Doctor Mahoney!

Good if routine type of thing but not if you don’t fit in as a nice classy white person. I’ve been here 4 times and it is terrible. First for a broken arm. Urgent care intake said they could take me so I waited 2 hrs for the doctor to tell me I needed to go to their emergency room (and wait again to see a doctor). Second, I had terrible chest pains, couldn’t even walk because it hurt so bad and it hurt to breathe. The doctor looked at me as if I was hysterical, then when I got his diagnosis he said, «I didn’t think there would be anything wrong, but you have pneumonia.» He turned around and walked out of the room before I could ask anything. I asked for pain medicine from the nurse but the Dr. Weismann refused. Bedridden, hurts to breathe and I’m suppose to take ibuprofen, which if that had worked I wouldn’t have been there in the first place. Two other times for infections, both times were for a recurring infection. Both times there were problems with the prescription. First time I got to the pharmacy and the script wasn’t in my name so I couldn’t fill it, the second time it was exactly the same as the antibiotic that had just failed to clear the infection (even though the doctor and I discussed that we needed to use a different antibiotic). I’ve never been surrounded by so many pompous asshole doctors. The nurses are VERY nice. I think they try to make up for what the doctors are lacking but they can only do so much. If it wasn’t for the nurses this place would have zero stars.

Great hospital! Every single person I encountered was the nicest! They definitely made me feel my comfort and health were very important to them. From the front desk to the ct-​scan lady provided more then excellent care. I’ve lived in Florida most of my life, just recently moved to Wisconsin, and experienced the hospitals there a few times and they in no way compare. I almost never write a review but I had to give credit where it’s due!

The Urgent care will have you pay the dr for an ER visit even if you sign a form confirming it is an Urgent care visit. Billing dept from both the Dr and Wheaton confirmed that even though they agree it was an Urgent care visit the Dr can charge me for an ER visit because they share the ER rooms. Even my insurance agrees this is bad practice. Go somewhere else for Urgent care.

Surgery on Tuesday, home on Wednesday; great experience! Everyone was so welcoming and wonderful! They took great care of me and were very professional. Everyone seemed to love their job and were very patient oriented.
