The Firecracker sushi roll is incredible, the only one I ever get b/c it is so amazing: Jalapeño, tuna, green onion, and avacado. Even though I am a sushi newbie, this place really stands out in the area. I also love all the soups and Thai dishes, and even my 6yr. old can get a tempura chicken/veggies combo and soup without a fuss. Wife likes the sushi/Thai dishes as well… I am not a huge Thai food fan as I eat Chinese a lot more frequently, and them not offering any Chinese on the menu is the only thing keeping me from coming back much more often and granting them 5 stars. However, they serve what they serve and I realize that is not their fault!!! I imagine if you are a big sushi/Thai fan this will quickly become your fave place… On a side note, the Phở Beef Noodle Bowl was awesome, and actually looked & tasted identical to a dish I had in Kyoto, Japan last year! Brought back memories…

Small and quiet. Out of the way in Franklin. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the atmosphere was boring and generic, but the food was very, very good. We have eaten there, as a family, several times. We get a variety of dishes and have never been disappointed. Will definitely be back.

I love this restaurant. The food is delicious and healthy like they advertise. I adore their sushi. The crab rangoons are delicious as well. The place is small and seats only 48. The hours are a little confusing sometimes, but it’s still a wonderful place to eat. The only reason I took away one star is because the service can be hit or miss. When I first started coming here, the service was great. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable. However, I’ve noticed that some of the staff are not friendly at all. One lady is downright rude. I had a friend come with me and she did not tip as well as normal since the server was rude. She actually cornered my friend and asked her why she didn’t give a better tip. I was appalled. Every time I go and I have that server, I know my experience is not going to be as good. This is obnoxious because the customer is what matters. I’m not expecting to be treated like a princess, but when I go out of my way to be friendly and polite to the server, just to be treated like crap is frustrating. The other servers are nowhere near as bad. Some of them may just be more introverted or something. I’ll be back for sure with the good food, though I might stick to ordering my food and picking it up instead.

I always have a quick excited gesticulation when I get the opportunity to come here. I highly recommend the pad Thai. It’s never too busy for lunch but it’s always high quality food. Gives me a cool feeling like I found a hidden gem. The ambiance is modest and clean. They’re focused on the food and not the elegance of the scenery(a positive in my book).

We dined here last weekend. I had shrimp tempura as an appetizer and beef teriyaki which was service with miso soup and house salad. My dear Husband enjoyed 2 huge plates of sushi. Everything was excellent. Service was spot on and the Sake was flowing.

Great sushi! I am not from the area, but was visiting my parents. I ate here based upon all the good reviews… THEYWEREALLCORRECT… The food was delicious! Atmosphere was a bit odd and I never would’ve expected the food to taste as good as it did. I WILLBEBACKFORSURE(next trip).

Just finished my first meal here and I am so impressed! The sushi was outstanding, as was the service(even though the place was packed, the staff was smiling, prompt, and did not make me feel rushed at all). I will definitely be back, again and again, and work my way through the menu!

My boyfriend has been so excited to take me to this place because it’s his hole in the wall place he loves going to before we started dating. I am happy to say that this place does exceeds expectations of an Asian. Even though the place mostly consists of Thai workers, these people know how to make some great sushi. The fish is fresh and the rice is just right. We also shared the Thai fried rice and it was just as great as my Thai aunt’s fried rice. The right amount of spices were put into it and raw veggies were served on top. We got combination meat and it was a great serving of meat and rice ratio. To top things off, they had Thai iced tea and knew how to make it. If it’s one thing you need to try its that: iced tea with condensed milk

An awesome place to eat Thai! To keep I short and sweet — Portions are large, curry and sushi were equally tasty and spice was on par, and the super friendly waitress gets all the stars. I’m super pleased with one exception — soft drinks come from the little bottles at $ 1.75 a bottle. Skip it and go healthy with water + lemon/lime. I will be back in the future!

This is my second time I have been here. I am traveling for work and eat Thai wherever I go. I have had a lot of Thai! And always get the red curry with tofu as hot as they’ll make it! This has by far been the best red curry I have ever had. I knew it the first time I had it but just thought I was super hungry, but no this is awesome! I can only speak for the red curry but if it’s the best I’ve had I would assume the rest of the menu would follow. Only downfall, they do not accept Amex. Won’t keep me from going every time I’m in town though!

A little gem in the burbs. Best Thai food in Franklin. On the south side of the 96, in the Publix shopping center, ’round the corner from Publix. A little hidden. Once you find it, you won’t forget it. Our new(only?) favorite neighborhood spot. Good Sushi and sashimi. Surprise appearance of a bowl of «phở» on the menu. Huh? Turns out, it’s actually the Thai version which is called«gwaey thieow.» And delicious. The difference is the broth has a more pronounced licorice from the anise and is a bit sweeter and fattier. Really, really good. A must try. I wouldn’t compare it to Vn Phở Deli’s phở – they’re just different and both have their charms. We have had the pad kee maow(drunken noodles), lard na(noodles in brown gravy), massaman curry(Southern Thai curry), and Vietnamese egg rolls. All were very good. Great balance of flavors. Excellent execution. Instead of asking for your noodles spicy hot, do the thing you would do in Thailand, which is to ask for the spice tray and doctor it to your liking. The sushi is not just respectable but downright good. My boys are sushi snobs and they both love this place. Fresh. Tasty. Yes. I’m in Franklin TN. Pinch me. The portions are generous and two can eat from one dinner entrée. Value is good. Not cheap but then I don’t seek out cheap b/c that means cheap ingredients hidden by volumes of food. Still might have cheap ingredients with higher price tag but the execution here tells me the kitchen cares for its customers. Washed down our meals with Thai Singha beer.(Don’t pronounce the«ha.» It’s silent. Just call it Sing beer.) The staff are all sweet and attentive but not hover-y like you might expect in a western restaurant. Once you have your food, they give you space to chow – b/c sometimes when the eatin’s good, food gets in your hair right? So, you need some space. Haven’t tried the Japanese food that Unilocaler Chris P hated on. Staying away from that in favor of the stand out Thai and sushi. For now, this will be our favorite neighborhood Thai jernt and we’ll be happy as clams.

Seriously good stuff! I consider myself a phở-connoisseur since I lived with the inventors of the stuff and I wish their Phở was their headliner… It’s GREAT. I had yellow tail sashimi and a Texas roll as well. The roll wasn’t amazing but the yellow tail was surprisingly very fresh and quite tasteful. I recommend everyone to go try the beef phở right now! Thanks!!!

Hands down the best Thai spot I’ve been to in the metro area. I just moved to Nashville a few months ago and I have found the Asian cuisine here to be lacking. On a whim, I decided to try Zushimaki and was definitely happy that I did. I had the pad thai(my benchmark dish — if they mess that up, there’s no hope for the rest) and Tom Kha soup. I found the Tom Kha soup on the sweeter side — not offensive, but didn’t blow me away. The service was ok — but they could use a few extra servers to ensure more timely coverage.

I don’t understand how this place has such good reviews. The service is uncomfortably rude, the lighting and décor is less inviting than a McDonald’s, and it looks very dingy and dirty. We’ve tried this place twice, and both times were really disappointed with the unfriendliness of the service and the poor food quality. For example, the Tom Ka and Tom Yum soups were watery and other than overly salty had little flavor. The tuna we got in our spicy tuna rolls was dry and obviously old.

This food is always hot, delicious, and unbelievable! WELL worth the price. For $ 7.95 you get a ton to eat — chicken teriyaki, veggies, steamed rice, miso soup and salad. AND everything is tasty!
