Great staff and very helpful. I am so glad that I called them and stopped in the showroom. Kelly was so helpful and answered all of my questions (and I had many). We had such a great experience with them and would recommend anyone using them!

So, I don’t venture away from food very often (cause that’s what I know), however I feel that my experience with Great Lakes Stone Works warrants a review.
My hubby and I went to a major retailer for our new countertops (because they contract out to a local company), when we were there they said it would be a 3-​week wait after we paid. Ok, that sucks but whatever. Then we get our measurement and we are told that it will be a 6-​week wait, ugh. Then we go to pick out our slab and there wasn’t even a choice there was one slab and it didn’t look like anything we wanted. At this time the employee tells us there is a 14-​week wait period! Are you kidding, it has gone from 3 weeks to 6 weeks to 14 weeks, and we paid you thousands of dollars for it already!
So that is when we got a refund and went to Great Lakes Stone Works. We contacted them, had our measurement, picked out our slab, and had it installed in under 2.5 weeks! Not only were they quick, but also they were super helpful, flexible, and did a great job on our countertops.
In addition, Great Lakes price per square foot was cheaper, all their edges were free whereas we originally had to pay $ 500 for a decent edge, and they ripped out our old countertops for free. We ended up paying almost $ 1,000 less! I was so exited, I couldn’t believe it.
This is a local company that went out of their way to make our experience great, I highly recommend them.
