This crunchy boutique definitely isn’t my style, so it’s saying something that I enjoyed browsing and saw a few products that made me go «that’s so cute!» when I was looking for a birthday gift. It’s helpful that the products have little cards noting the country they were made in. I ended up buying my mom a leather elephant change purse as a «stocking stuffer» and it was only $ 8. There are many animal motif products in the store. They carry a variety of items such as accessories, home décor, stationery, and beauty products, many of which are a lot more interesting than other downtown stores.

Love their flower therapy facial products. My skin feels so smooth and I feel better knowing I“m not putting all of those toxic chemicals on my skin. Their mint shower wash is also really great. The service is always quick and friendly and they are always very knowledgeable about the products. The prices are a little high but that’s because it takes more to get the highest quality ingredients.

This place is WAY more than beauty supplies. They have a great selection of organic and fairtrade goods for homes, as well as gorgeous scarves and purses. I went to their tent sale today at the Arts Festival, got a great basket for $ 10 and then got some awesome printed papers to use around the house(they are great for framing or using to back shelves or do Pinterest-y type projects) for $ 5 apiece. I almost bought an awesome purple purse that was so chic and only $ 40. And if I had some extra cash(I did not), I would have picked up some of their kids toys– they were great! Very cool store, I would have never thought to go in except for that tent sale, and I’m really glad I did– I’ll definitely go back!

I’ve been meaning to come here for a while, but never quite found the time. My family was visiting and wanted to explore downtown Frederick. It’s a hippiesque store — a shop that would easily fit in the heart of Humboldt County, CA(Hippie Haven of CA) which I love. Cute products, reasonable prices. They have scarves, headbands, organic products, accessories, trinkets, edible goodies, etc. I wind up buying a peru-made headband. So why the one star decrease? A family member commented that the store owner was trailing behind closely after we looked at one of the earring racks and started counting how many earrings there were on the rack. This is not acceptable behavior.

4.5 just because I wish their prices were a bit lower but love the lavender garden hair wash(2 tablespoons are enough for my bra strap length hair). If you like organic products, this is the best place to go. The attendant was extremely helpful as I explained all my hair and face problems. She recommended some products and I was able to try them right at the store :) 16 oz lavender garden hair wash = $ 20.50 Fragrance free facial care sampler = $ 10.75

Upgrading to 5 stars now, I have been using their organic detox shampoo for awhile now and am very pleased with it. I continue to use the face lotion and just started purchasing their chap stick. Top notch certified organic body care-I love it. They even have chocolate! Who can argue with that?

Frederick offers some exquisite shopping options on Market and E Patrick St. Our take is that the town has a thing for Inca civilization stuff, ethnic artifacts and esoterica, and Terressentials delivered on those three fronts. The assortment of musical instruments from such places as Ghana and Peru was pretty cool, and if you are conscious about the impact of your spending on the well-being of Mother Earth, you can shop here with a clear conscience. I take a little bit of issue with the elitist vibe of the place, though. I’m all for top-notch quality, but somehow the atmosphere is inviting of mostly affluent folks. I actually came here knowing I wanted to get the mint-bentonite clay shampoo, which works the best for my type of hair and which I use despite the feminine imagery of its label. It’s an excellent product, but I expected the price to be somewhat lower at their own store. The balance: excellent products, commendable social mission, aesthetically pleasing store, welcoming customer service, high prices = more pluses than minuses.

Seriously amazing body products! My prego belly would have never survived without the body oil and 100% pure organic cocoa butter that was easy to apply and smelt good enough to eat!!! Oh, and lets not forget the wicked all natural plant material wash cloths that do a AMAZING job cleaning my skin. I love this place!!!

Love these products, specifically the flower therapy face line. The daily lotion is fantastic for humid weather, it soaks right in without feeling greasy. The face crème is perfect for drier weather and they both smell fantastic. The flower therapy acid mask is great for a gentle exfoliation twice a week. And the best part is they are all organic. There is no other line other than Dr. Hauschka that comes close to the quality of these skin care products, and Dr. Hauschka is way overpriced, and none of those products carry the USDA Organic seal like Terressentials does. Ordering from their website is simple, their prices and shipping fees are clear. I’ve never had to contact them for service personally, but I would expect that their service would be as positive and enthusiastic as the quality of their products.
