Horrible company, dishonest and sloppy. Missed a major flaw on the retaining wall of my house. Refused to admit that it is their fault, Offered $ 200 for the repair of said wall out of cost about $ 10K. Lied in court as well. Inspector’s name was Joe Dempsey, He was fired since then, however company is still owned by Mr Lazerow and the management is the same. Do not believe the testimonials on their page; it is all rigged as there is no place on their website to leave an honest opinion.
I fully agree with other reviewers, they are just soo bed I would have given them less then a star, it is less then a zero! Looks like that they even care, well hope they will be out of business.

I would strongly recommend NOT using Alban Inspections. There are a number of issues with my house that they did not find. For example, they missed a major structural issue that was visible (my contractor found the issue in 15 minutes) which ended up costing me $ 10k to fix. They refuse to take any ownership. They have extremely poor communication — my inspector yelled at me over the phone.

I have used Alban Home Inspections for over 15 years working as a Realtor. The Inspectors have changed over the years. You need to have a long standing relation with the person you like. Although all people need to keep in mind, this is a general Home Inspection. A way to look at the components of a house. And if you do not ATTEND together with the Inspector, you leave the information gathered from the inspection to be uninformed or possibly misunderstood by relying only on a written report. George Ash used to by my go to man. Although new inspectors have joined and over time they are learning.
