Anything in Stained Glass

Stellar service yet again! Ive done business with them over the internet on 2 occasions and have frequented their store in Frederick Maryland atleast a dozen times. They have the best prices in all of Virginia and Maryland and are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Their assortment of glass is basically a medium sized warehouse area that is attached to the main store and classrooms. Huge assortment of all supplies and no shortage of help from the staff. Would recommend to everyone.

The people are friendly and they take the time to pick out really nice pieces of glass for you, very important if you’re ordering online and not seeing the actual piece since glass can vary so much. I’ve been using this company for my glass since the early ‘90s! Always great service.

UNBELIEVABLE! If you have any interest in stained glass you must go here! I checked them out on the web first and they have everything available so my wife, daughter, and me decided to pay them a visit. The store is about 30 minutes from where we live so it was a small (WORTHWHILE) trip.
When we got there, they had Komomo glass on sale for $ 4.99 a 12×12 in some crates. WOW. These were not on the website. My wife and daughter jumped in and started looking through the glass. The place look like many stained glass stores I’ve been in at first… a studio area with a small shop of supplies and glass. The staff was very friendly and one asked if I wanted a tour… Thinking to myself, I have eyes but sure show me where things are… We started in the small shop area… saw what was available, the studio work area with all the cutting tools they have for sale (cool)… then we walked to the south side of the small store front and made a left… OMG… I have NEVER seen so much glass in on place, the warehouse of glass was HUGE… The lady showed me the different areas for glass and type (now I needed the guide)… while showing me the areas I heard my wife and daughter round the forementioned corner and make a LOUD exclamation as they see all the glass. I had to laugh.
Seriously, they have great prices, great service, and a great selection.

If I could give this company minus stars I would. I placed a $ 400+ order that was to be delivered within 3 days. I called them a day after it was placed to change the email address. I was informed that the package went to Alaska, not CA where I live. I was informed that the individual it was delivered to, would be shipping it to me from there. Mind you, these items were already paid for and were still not in my hands. Long story short, the customer service regarding this screw up was absolutely horrible. I will not EVER purchase anything from this place again and am leaving this terrible review so that others will only order from them with extreme caution. Oh, and I requested a next day express mail package to be shipped directly from the business and was given, instead, a ground shipment that will arrive in a week. Can you believe that? BEWARE ALL SHOPPERS

I. Love. This. Place! I was first an online customer when they were in NJ. When I found they moved to Frederick, MD, I couldn’t get up there fast enough! This place is HUGE, and everyone working here is incredibly nice and helpful. They’ve always been happy to chat and talk about project ideas and troubleshooting. Their pricing over all is far cheaper than other retail locations I’ve been to in VA and MD. They have the biggest selection of Spectrum glass I’ve seen in any retail location. They also carry fusing supplies (both 96 and 90), bevels, fusing molds, all the hand tools and supplies you’d expect, and then some extra cool things! Every time I come here I try very hard to stick to my shopping list, but it’s impossible — I usually end up buying twice (or more) what I needed and I don’t regret it! They also get crates of Kokomo glass in and they are awesome to pick through because of the varieties available. Their Uroboros selection (COE 96) is good, and they have a smaller selection of Bullseye (COE 90). I really can’t say enough good things about these guys. Except maybe they should move to Virginia so I don’t have to drive as far. ;-)
