Chem-Dry Carpet Solutions

I was not pleased with this service at all. We own a home with carpeting in the 3^rd floor bedrooms and the basement. Because we have 3 kids we also own the large carpet cleaner machine that most people rent from the grocery store. We had company coming to stay with us, so I looked into Chemdry giving us a professional clean since I was pressed for time. I talked to the person on the phone and she confirmed that yes, their technique was far superior to the machine I owned at home for cleaning. I would consider our carpets worn but not heavily stained at all– since we regularly steam clean them. The company came out and IMMEDIATELY tried to upsell their product– additional solutions, treatments, etc. We spent $ 400 on the regular cleaning on the 2 levels and I’m quite unhappy with the result. The few stains we had (like drips of coffee) were not taken care of (its not like it was red wine– this should have been no problem). For sure, their product did no better than the rented machines at the store could. I feel my money was wasted!

I used this service just today and I’m really pleased. The lady who made the appt was very pleasant and helpful on the phone. The workers arrived on time. One of the men explained my options and the pros and cons. He answered all my questions and they got right to work. I haven’t had my upstairs wall-​to-​wall carpet cleaned in a really long time so they were pretty dirty. I went for the more expensive service for that reason. It did a great job. I have no complaints. I must say that the complaint from «Jennifer» doesn’t make any sense to me. Why would a carpet cleaning process prevent a pet from urinating on the carpet again? It sounds to me like «Katherine» understood what the process was supposed to accomplish regarding pet stains. Just saying.
I would definitely use them again.

Used Chem Dry for a whole house carpet cleaning and I was happy with the service. The basic cleaning price was relatively inexpensive, but I elected for a service that stripped the fibers and reapplied protectant, something called thrashing, and PURT pet urine treatment to help with some damage my cat had done. Price was pretty up there after all that, but my carpets looked great and smelled clean. There were two technicians, both were very friendly. I would use this company again.

Chem Dry is a rip off. I used them to clean my berber carpet and they were professional but they had to come out to the house 3 times before they could remove all the stains. They said it was helpful for pets stains, however my dog still urinates in the same places he previously urinated on before ChemDry came to clean it. It was so expensive for their services even though I had a «coupon» and they start to add other fees to the carpet cleaning services if you wanted the «special cleaner» they used to remove pet urine. I would definitely not use them again. Although the owners were very friendly and willing to come out again, I felt like it was a waste of time since they had to come out several times to remove certain stains and they still are not fully removed.
