I have been fortunate enough to own several pieces of Doug’s jewelry; among them are earrings, a custom-​made ring with an Alexandrite and purple gold set in Argentium, a gorgeous pendant in purple gold, several pendants, including his beautiful heart pendant, and circle, square, and triangle pendants that I wear together. My husband just had two identical bracelets made for us to symbolize our new life and next adventure now that our sons are grown. We are from New Jersey and Doug is our jeweler of choice. His designs are beautiful, innovative, and exquisitely crafted. He takes time to listen to your preferences and is a hell of a nice guy. And then there’s that cute dog…

I just picked up a beautiful pendant that Doug created for me. It is so unique and I am so anxious to wear it for a special occasion. The workmanship is so amazing, and Doug actually signed his name on the back. There are so many wonderful pieces in the shop that you want to take all of them home!

This is one of the most beautiful jewelry galleries in Maryland. Doug Zaruba makes most of the jewelry. His work is very artistic and original. He sets diamonds in gold in interesting ways. He makes settings for gemstones such as opals. He will work with the customer to design something unique to satisfy them. For the quality of the work, the prices are fair. If you want top notch jewelry that is distinctive, take a look at Vortex 13.
