Avoid this builder atl all cost. They have unskilled contractors, poor workmanship and they do not care about their customers. They build your home the way they want too and not the way you agree to have it built. They have messed up things in the home and will not fix it. Do your research. You definitely don’t want to buy a home from drees. Don’t do drees!

I cannot speak for their product but I know that the agents for Drees home builders here in Frederick, MD at Ballenger(Linton) are bait and switch artist. Me and my wife were looking at a new home online that was listed for one price but when we applied for the home they tried to switch the price and add $ 40K. When we called them on it they were like«Okay, but we have to take the $ 15K that we give EVERYONE towards closing off of the table.» This is just wrong and professionally unethical. I understand theyre salesmen but I got the impression that theyre making up rules as they go along. Anyway, this turned me off because as a 20+ year veteran of the US Navy, INTEGRITY is paramount and if you aint got that as a homebuilder… well what else are you cheating me on? Now this may be only this location and this sales manager but for me, it gives the entire company a black eye because theyve hired and promoted them to that level so that means the company is okay with this behavior.

Aviod this builder at all risks. If not proceed with extreme caution and prepared to be disappointed. This company has gone down ever since the founder of Ausherman Home passed it onto his son Marvin who ran it downhill and sold it Drees Homes. Management is still the same and will screw you over in a minute with false promises.

Purchased my home from Drees @ their Linton development in Frederick. Excellent sales and buying experience, Stuart Terl the division President even became involved and worked with me to get into the home i wanted. Couldnt have asked for more.
