I don’t know the quality of the psychiatrists, since I tried for over two weeks to get an appointment as a new patient. The answering message stated the I should allow THREE BUSINESS DAYS to get my call returned. One message asked for a good time to call, I gave it to the machine, and no call during that timeframe, just other call backs that I could not answer as I was at work. With every returned call, I got that same rather insulting message and the caution that subsequent messages could DELAY their response (?). I ended up giving up trying to get them to see me for severe depression (which they had made worse…). This is a callous and careless way to treat people with behavioral heath problems.
Addendum: I recently got a message to call them «if I still wanted an appointment». Absolutely no way. I do not recommend this group, but as it is so difficult to get an appointment, it’s probably a moot point.
