Sporadically you get a good manager to fix a problem. The male managers seem more hospitable. Other than that you are out of luck. The cashier’s do not want to do their job they always have trouble with any kind of coupon. I have three kids all under the age of four. I use coupons lol. It is just not a customer friendly environment unless you get a manager and that is only sometimes the case.

It’s not as bad as Ollie’s but it’s certainly not a fine establishment. However, I’m giving three stars because the customer service people here are pretty good and there is ONE manager – I think in electronics – who is always VERY nice. I go in for things like laundry products, paper towels, etc – certainly don’t clothes shop here. I just think it’s better than one star and really WOULD be a two star rating if certain employees didn’t bring it up a notch. They DO need to keep clean and it would be nice if their prices were more competitive but if you want Redskins/Ravens/Cowboys/Steelers apparel – they’ve got a good selection. The pharmacy hours suck, though… but their prescription transfer incentive is one of the best. It COULD be so much more but I won’t complain too much. However, my 13 and 16 yr old sons wouldn’t be caught walking in the store. I suppose that’s a plus for me – lets me get some shopping done w/out interruption. ;-) Oh, and I like that I can pay my Sears bill here and that they accept a Sears card.

Not a regular Kmart shopper, but I needed a few things and I was near this store. It seems to be in a bad section of town. The police were there arresting someone for shoplifting. The prices were high — much higher than walmart. The store is dirty and disorganized. Will not return.

RUNAWAY. RUNFARFARAWAY. This is the most run down, dirty store I have ever been in. EVER. My uncle was desperately trying to find a certain item for my aunt for Christmas and came here as a last resort. I needed Christmas cards and though hey, Kmart can handle that. We both were oh, so wrong. As you walk in the doors, liter, dirt, leaves, even merchandise is all strewn about in the walkway. As you go further into the store the shelves are fairly empty because it’s poorly stocked and because a good chunk of the merch is on the floor. I was shocked. Just because a store, whether its a Kmart, Walmart, Target, etc and does«discount shopping» doesn’t mean it can’t be nice and clean. Needless to say my uncle didn’t find what he was hoping to find and I couldn’t even get a few Christmas cards as the merchandise was so sparse and what cards were in stock where mostly beat up and un-giveable. I did buy a few cards and the check out girl was the one shining spot to this event. She was so sweet and friendly. I applaud her for keeping up her standards of service while it’s clear the rest of the store has let it go down the drain. She deserves to work in a much better, cleaner, happier place.
