Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse of Frederick

If you are looking to redo your kitchen, I highly recommend this Lowes. Not only is the showroom gorgeous, the staff is knowledgeable and are a great help. It was my first time renovating a kitchen and I felt well taken care of. Cabinets/​granite go to Matthew. Flooring go to Brittany, Brad and Delores, Their customer service was tremendous! And my kitchen is gorgeous!

Love the online order & pickup option, highly recommend if you know what’s needed and loathe shopping like me. Friendly staff at this location (compared to the one by Wegman’s) and even got help carrying heavy salt bags to my car. Was in and out in 10 minutes. The location gets bottlenecked during heavy traffic times so I’d recommend stopping by during off-​peak times.

Bought new Samsung refrigerator which decided that it wanted to freeze all of the food in the fridge compartment after about 4 months. We called Lowe’s for service and they apparently sub this out to A&E Service. We have our 4^th service scheduled for tomorrow because they can’t seem to fix the problem and won’t replace the defective unit. Apparently they view 4 service calls in one month as ONE call as well. Every time we call we get a different agent regurgitating different and often contradictory information and «policies». We think their real policy is to keep their incompetence hidden for as long as possible.
We were told that Samsung would not help us but when contacted directly all they require are copies of the service orders which A&E and Lowe’s apparently cant be bothered to forward to them. I think I will go back to Home Depot or Best Buy for my appliances.

This was my first time ever going to this location. I live in another town (where we have our own Lowe’s), but had just finished lunch with a friend and decided to stop by. I initially wanted to purchase a small bag of rocks for top dressing soil of my potted plants.
As I always do, I checked out the succulents and cacti in the nursery/​garden center. I was immediately greeted by a sales specialist, Theresa P., and she started a conversation with me about the plants I was looking it. She pointed out that they’ve recently been drastically reduced in price due to change of season and having so many of them there. I did not intend to purchase any plants yesterday, but I bought 12! Of course, I also then needed to buy soil and pots for them all… so I did =)
Theresa was SUPER helpful and so eager to assist. My cashier, Jackie, was also very personable and was really efficient in ringing up my plants and pots, and pointed out on the receipt the great price things were because of the multiple sales going on.
I left feeling like a million bucks. Was very happy that Theresa P. gave me her card. I’ll happily drive the 35 minutes it takes to get to that store in order to have that same type of service again.

I’ve been shopping at this Lowe’s for years and have always had very good customer service here and found the products that I came to buy. I’ve rarely encountered a rude or ineffective associate.
More times than not (and I’m sure a lot of you do too) I can shuttle between this store & the nearby Home Depot by cutting through the trailer park behind it, when gathering supplies & materials for a current project. Great location.
We really like their garden center and I think they have a better trim and molding selection over HD. I also prefer the selection of electrical & wiring materials as well. We’ve bought some very nice lighting fixtures at this Lowes. Tool-​wise — about the same as Home Depot, and I am a fan of Rigid power tools that I can get at HD.
I think some of Lowes’ doors and hardware may be better as well. I feel like we can get more quality products there. Same for the paint and stain — seems to be a better quality along with the never ending supply of painting materials we always seem to need.
For lumber — it is hit or miss. That’s why it’s nice to be able to shuttle over to (or back from) their competitor. I know I’ve left the store with a pickup full of materials more than a dozen times.
Overall, I think I like this location better than the «new» Lowes up by the Wegman’s If not just for location and the proximity to their competition.

Great products and well stocked selections. However, I do prefer the Columbia store

When your nametag says «Customer Service» you should actually care about the customer.

This Lowe’s was packed. Normally I will find a parking space and walk, but the lot was so large I just parked at the front of the store — yes, that is the action of a douchebag, but I didn’t want to walk. Ran in, had the keys made and ran out.
I am still amazed at the amount of people in this store.
