Lumber Liquidators

This review is for Lumber Liquidators in general. I did a lot of research, through lots of detective work found my product is made in USA (not China), so I thought I had all my basis covered. I purchased flooring, trim etc. I allowed the wood to cure as per instructed (and the warranty), had it installed (not by Lumber Liquidators), was so happy, the floor WAS amazing. Installation occurred Sept. 2012. About 4 months later there were sizable gaps in the floor boards, oddly the boards were shrinking but not uniformly, wider at one end… we are talking all over. The first question I was asked by corporate was «did Lumber Liquidators install the floor». Calling corporate ultimately resulted in them sending out and «independent» specialist, who measured, checked for nail placement, moisture etc. Of course the result was installation error. It was not installation error, the nails were precisely spaced. Buyer beware. The stores are not an issue but the company does not stand by the product. I knew when I started the «complaint» process I would not be the victor, lesson learned. I did everything right!!!

I have bought a lot of flooring and trim for our house. There are no frills, but good prices.
