Monocacy Cleaners

Very good, timely and good work … Sewing/​alteration very good but somewhat pricey!

Let me start by saying that I’ve never used the services of Monocacy Cleaners nor will I ever.
Monocacy Cleaners is located in The Shops at Monocacy in Frederick, Maryland.
I was driving around The Shops at Monocacy looking for a parking spot, however, all but two spots were all occupied. Those two unoccupied spots were located directly in front of Monocacy Cleaners. Both spots had signs that read «Monocacy Cleaners Parking Only.» Regrettably, I pulled into one of those marked spots to wait for another spot to open up. I did not get out of my car. I did not turn off my car. I did not even unbuckle my seatbelt.
While waiting for an unmarked spot to become available, I noticed a female employee inside of Monocacy Cleaners peering through the blinds at me. I tried to ignore her, but next thing I knew she was standing at my car window starring at me. Then, she proceeded to tap on my window. Obviously, I rolled down my window to see what she wanted (knowing what she probably wanted).
With a sour attitude, she stated «you need to move your car.» I replied, «I’m planning on doing so as soon as a spot opens up.» However, she continued to be crude, abrupt, and disrespectful, so I ended up leaving the shopping center all together.
What happened to good customer service??? Or just general respect for another human being??? For the life of me, I cannot understand WHY someone who works in customer service would treat a potential customer like that. Maybe I had 4 bags of clothes in my car that needed laundering (I didn’t, but if I did I would NOT take them to Monocacy Cleaners.)
This place doesn’t even deserve one star (but it won’t let me post my review without rating it). It deserves negative 8 stars. DO NOT GO HERE PEOPLE. Save yourself the trouble. I didn’t even make it through the front door and was treated like I was 3 inches tall.
Mind blown.

Ruined an expensive bed comforter and tried to blame us, claiming it was like that when it came in. The comforter had never once been washed or dry cleaned (and was in perfect condition when we brought it in) although she accused us of lying about that as well. Rather than act with integrity, facing her mistake, she yelled at us, calling us liars. I will never set foot here again.
