In my opinion this is the best place to get your haircut in Urbana. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes and their place is clean, efficient, and professional.
Whenever I go, Thu is the guy that cuts my hair. He’s extremely meticulous but he does a great job.

I have been going to Nate’s for the last three years and with the exception of one time, I have never had to go back for a touch-​up. The owner and staff are very nice. The prices are reasonable.
My only complaint is the wait can be lengthy at times. Be patient or try to come back when they are less busy.

If you want someone to learn how to cut hair on your head, this place is perfect. I prefer someone that knows what they are doing.

I am always a little nervous getting a haircut from a new barber. I usually «sacrifice» one of my boys to see if the barber’s are any good. However, because of timing I had to bite the bullet and take chance with at Nate’s.
To my relief, I was very pleased with my haircut. Since that initial visit, my kids and I have been here many times with different barbers without any issues. Nate’s has a good vibe, there is little wait (unless you want a specific barber)…but in my experience they are all pretty talented, and is a good value.
I would definitely recommend Nate’s.

Nate’s is a great barber shop if you want a no-​fuss and affordable experience. There’s more than a handful of hair salons in Urbana but Nate’s has been the best haircut I’ve had so far. I’ve rarely had to wait for a spot (unless you are partial to a particular barber — all of them are highly skilled BTW) and they’re great with the kids as well. I take my two little boys with me and all three of us get cleaned up nicely for a fraction of what I used to pay for my haircut alone at some of the «fancier» salons. All in all just a classic barber shop where you won’t be disappointed!
