We recently decided to stop here for dinner. What a dream place. We tried numerous items on the menu and our server was very helpful with suggestions. The food was yummy we were not disappointed. Great cocktail menu. Request patio seating if available. Very nice

If your looking for the best fire oven pizza, you have to try Pistarros. The hand made pizzas are the best. The food is just plain awesome. I had the porker pizza, the fixings and mozzarella cheese was out of this world. The staff is very friendly and professional. For a special treat, try the desserts, you won’t regret it.

Good pizza(not New York style, but very tasty). Don’t sleep on the pasta. I kinda like the family style seating but, if you’re anti-social, this might not be for you.

Truly delicious pizza. Great selection of vegetarian /vegan items. And we’d really like to come back and try other menu items, but I can’t give our experience any higher rating because we ended up leaving with all our pizzas boxed up after waiting at our pizza-less table for an hour after we ordered. Appetizers were long gone. Beer glasses were empty. And we got there at 5 o’clock when the restaurant was slow. Found out the server forgot to «fire» our pizzas in the system. And the manager passed by our table full of dirty appetizer dishes at least 6 times, meeting our eyes and seeing our kids get increasingly more fussy, without ever addressing us to see if we were being taken care of, or checking in with the server. You guys have to get better at this. Your pizza is worthy of it. But we waited too long, didn’t get to eat, and never felt that the situation was acknowledged.

SOOOO disappointed. Wanted this to be a great experience but it wasn’t even sub-par. Horrible, bland pizza. Very stingy with the toppings. Ordered mushroom and sausage and hardly any to be found on the whole pizza. The calamari was terrible. Obviously the chef does not know the oil needs to be HOT when frying calamari. It arrived greasy and rubbery blech. Should have sent the whole meal back but we decided we just won’t return —

We stopped for a quick lunch on our way home to Baltimore. We sat outside on a cute patio. They have a kids menu with pizza pasta and chicken options. They all come with drink, dessert and dough to play with. Perfect for kids! We split a sausage pizza which was superb. The resteraunt is right next to a little park with a playground. $ 25 for a light lunch. Don’t pass this by. Will be back for dinner to try drinks!

If you are looking for subpar pizza with no taste and a horrible wait staff then keep looking… As a self proclaimed pizza expert I’ve tried my fair share of pizzas and nothing has come even close to the pizza I had tonight. I would highly recommend trying out any of their various pizza options on the menu. Tonight we had bread for the appetizer, two cocktails from the bar, pepperoni pizza, and the eggplant. The eggplant was lick your plate clean good and the pizza was delightful. I highly recommend.

DELICIOUS! The only thing I happened to enjoy while in Maryland for a week. Came with my husband on our last night and so glad we did. Not sure of the name but I ordered a pizza with sausage mozzarella peppers broccoli rabe and caramelized onions and it was amazing. So so good I wanted more. The staff was very attentive and the place was nicely decorated. I would def come back here if I am ever in this area. You won’t regret coming here.

We had a great experience here on a road trip with a 2 year old, and I’m fairly sure it would also make a great date night spot. The portions are perfectly sized for the price, which is modest, and everything was very yummy! Our server was really nice and personable. Really nothing more we could ask for.

I really like this restaurant, nice modern look, great patio area, wood fired oven, fresh made pasta. The carbonara is very good, crispy pancetta with a smooth sauce that is just right, not drowning in sauce so you can appreciate the fresh pasta. The pane bread is awesome and the toasted olives are a nice snack to start off. I’ve had their pizza, very good. They also have a good bar and local craft beers. Don’t skip this place.

Went at off hours. Ordered a pizza with three toppings. The dough was to thin to support the toppings so when you went to take a slice the top of the pizza and topping remained on the tray. It was wet.

Pistarro’s redeems itself in a BIG way. Last time my dining experience was centered around pasta pudding(severely overcooked pasta), but I promised I’d be back for the pizza. And it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the Nezih pizza; Middle Eastern spiced sausage, cheese, and jalapeños. The crust was fired perfectly, the cheese was mild but flavorful, and the sausage and peppers gave it a nice kick. My friend got another type of pizza(can’t think of the name) and it was just as good. I went for an appetizer of mozzarella sticks and they were awesome. I was bummed out that they didn’t bring out any of the garlic naan type bread with pesto like they did last time; maybe they don’t serve that with pizza because it would be bread overkill, but it would have been nice if they at least asked if I wanted it. The tiramisu is just as good as ever, and the waitress was really kind throughout the meal, being very attentive. But the big point was trying to convince me as to why I should ever come back here after my first so-so experience, and it came down to the pizza. And the pizza here was definitely the redemption Pistarro’s has earned.

Excellent pizza. I love the crust from the wood fired oven. We also had the fennel salad which was a little strong on the onion but still yummy. The Lily café latte is great to top off dinner… even decaf.

4.5 stars! And the only reason it’s down all of half a star is because the calamari wasn’t the best i’ve ever had. Now onto what was the best I’ve ever had… THEPASTA! Yes please, i’ll have 2nds! The fresh made pasta was delicious!!! I had the trofi and after the first bite, i initially thought it was a little dry, but the more i ate the better it got and I ended the meal feeling comfortably full and not stuffed and greasy like a lot of pesto dishes may leave you feeling. There wasn’t a drop of oil at the bottom of the plate… light, FULL of flavor, and absolutely DELICIOUS!!! This is a very family friendly restaurant that provides balls of pizza dough for entertainment. The wine selection is great and they have a number of daily specials rotating through the year. I cannot wait to go back for more!!!

After months of bad GPS directions I finally found Pistarros! Having heard RAVE reviews from my clients at work I had to check this place out. The parking is hit or miss but on a nice sunny day that doesn’t really matter. I ventured in with my boyfriend who doesn’t like to eat at restaurants so we ordered to-go. Upon arriving the friendly hostess greeted us then directed us towards the bar to order. The ambience here is quit wonderful actually. High ceilings, warm colors, well lit, big tables and a large TV with great big windows to see outside. The menu is quit simple but it took us forever to decide with all the available options! This place is winning because they offer vegan/vegetarian options, also there is a gluten free crust option available for $ 5. We ended up ordering the Anana(Mozz. Speck, pineapple, jalepeno and basil) & Florentina pizza(Vegetarian, Mozz, artichoke and something else.) Both pizzas were cooked nicely, I like the charred taste of the dough and how crunchy it was on the outside yet maintained a chewy crust. The Anana was DELICIOUS, I’d totally order that again but with extra jalepeno and speck next time. My boyfriend didn’t like the Florentina, it was DEFF very bland. It had no taste except for the slight nuttiness in the dough and the tart flavor from the artichoke. Neither of us would order that one again. I would totally give Pistarros a 5 star rating if the pizza had been seasoned more. The sauce was fresh and tasty but lacked salt, the dough was PERFECT, and the toppings were fresh. I’ll deff be back to try other pizzas and their pasta dishes.

Luckily, it wasn’t so busy when my husband and I dined here for lunch on a Saturday(and had a table to ourselves). I would feel uncomfortable, also, if other people were sitting at our table. My husband had the Pepperoni Pizza and said it was good! The spaghetti with meatballs was delicious but would have liked a bit more sauce. The waitress was very friendly and had our food out within 10 minutes. I’m definitely dining here again. I would like to try Florintina Pizza — spinach /ricotta /artichoke /roasted pepper /parmesan.
