Gosh, I don’t who’s pizza everyone else is having… cuz its not Rosa’s…I can’t believe there are negative reviews on here. Rosa Pizza and Pasta is well priced and delicious! My girlfriend and I come here almost every time we end up at FSK.

I can’t believe the negative reviews on here, I actually think the pizza at Rosa’s Pizza is really good!!! I love the crust, it’s on the thinner side but never comes out soggy and it’s very flavorful. The toppings are fairly generic, canned mushrooms for instance and the sauce can be a bit sweet, but they’re generous with the cheese and overall the flavor of the crust really takes this pizza to a different level. I see where other reviewers are coming from with their comments on the service at Rosa’s Pizza, it’s run by a small group of people that don’t seem to speak English well and smiles are rare. Dare I say they don’t look too thrilled to be there taking your pizza orders?! But they’re never rude either and I’ve never had an order come out wrong. So, whatever, I guess that’s just the way they are. I overlook it because the pizza is so good. Price-wise it’s fairly competitive, not expensive but not particularly cheap either. My main gripe is that I do wish they had pizza boxes that matched the size of their pizza… if you’re going to serve over-sized pizzas, please have a box that they can fit in! If I wanted folded over pizza I’d order a Calzone…

I ate there yesterday, and had the best garlic knot roll. It was airy and delicious. I would go back there just for those rolls. I also had a philly cheese steak calzone that was also very good. I had asked for a white pizza, because I can’t eat tomato sauce, but they told me it would take 15 minutes. My friend spilled her soda, and they cleaned it up with out a fuss, and gave her another one. I love this place! I will be back, and I hope they don’t close.

I see a lot of negative reviews on this place, but my wife and I had a pretty good experience here. They primarily serve New York style thin crust, along with calzones, and a couple variations of a thicker crust pizza. Although their thick crust pizza looked really good, we instead decided to try their thin crust with sausage & pepperoni. The crust and sauce were really good! Their pizza was extra greasy just as New York style should be! So I would say give it a try around lunch time when their pizza pies are fresh…

Tonight was my first time eating here and I must say that I was VERY disappointed. The man taking my order seemed bored and irritated that I was even there. I asked him a few questions about the price of the pizza and type of pizza available, and he didn’t explain anything very well. Then, I got charged for a large(or maybe it was an extra-large, I’m not completely sure) pizza that I didn’t exactly order. I ended up taking half of it home with me. I must add, it was great tasting pizza, just didn’t feel that the customer service was good at all, and that is the most important part to me, as a consumer.

Horrible! The restaurant is dirty. I ordered a pizza to go and they gave it to me barely cooked so I had to finish baking it at home, plus the toppings were wrong. The guy taking the order couldnt understand english, so why is HE taking orders??? No wonder my pizza was wrong. The only thing good was the crust, it tasted really good. They hardly put any sauce or cheese on the pizza even though i asked for extra sauce and extra cheese. I should have made the trip to IL Forno Pizzeria on market street in frederick, their pizza is FANTASTIC!!!

Rosa Pizza is a pretty good pizza shop. There pizza is pretty good and they have subs and pasta’s also. They have a baked ziti pasta out on display with the pizza’s and they put extra sauce and cheese on it and bake it before they give it to you. They also have great cold salads that are italian and very good. Overall its a great place to eat in the mall and its quick and hot and fresh.

Not the best pizza in the world, but the options in Frederick if you want pizza by the slice are SERIOUSLY limited. They have about 10 – 20 different pizzas to choose from, as well as some strombolis and sandwiches. When I was there today had a(huge) slice of BBQ chicken pizza on thick thick crust and drizzled with Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce. It was very good. Not the best, but certainly a good slice. I pointed right to the one I wanted and they threw it in the over, and a few minutes later it was brought to my table where me and my son shared it. Good crust. I can’t judge the cheese because there wasn’t much on my slice since I got a BBQ chicken slice. Service for me was just fine. It’s a pizza place. I didn’t get any attitude. It was $ 4.60 for my slice, but then again it was HUGE. Regular cheese slice is about $ 2.50. Among the choices for the day were some stuffed pies, some vegetable pies, some all-meat pies, classics like pepperoni, sausage and peppers, mushrooms, and plenty of others. Any good pizza place should have a good variety of slices to choose from, and they did have a lot of choices. I haven’t found pizza(by the slice) this good in Frederick yet, and I’ve been here two years about. I am from NY. My mom own’s a pizza place. In NY there is a great pizza place almost every other block. I am sure there are places in Frederick that have good pizza, but I haven’t found a place for a great slice of pizza, by the slice, to take our or eat in, and where I can just grab it and eat it. This place here is in the Mall! That is not a great location for the kind of access to pizza I prefer. I will not bother to park at the mall and go into the mall just for pizza. It’s good here, but it’s still in the mall. Place was clean. I talked to the manager a bit while paying at the register. He was nice. They have other locations, in Pennsylvania. This is their only mall location and he knows it’s not the best spot for a pizza place. All in all, though, I’m satisfied and won’t hesitate to grab a slice when I’m in the mall and hungry for something other than McDonald’s(yuk) or Subway.

School shopping with the kids — it was lunchtime — simply couldn’t do McD’s so it was into Rosa Pizza we went. Honestly, the pizza and other food stuffs weren’t so bad. But OMG the employees… wow. Talk about needing an overhaul. I don’t know if it was a language barrier or what, but this was some of the most unhelpful, uninterested, borderline-hostile«customer service» I’ve encountered in a while. Would absolutely not go back based on the TUDE we received today!

I usually avoid Francis Scott Key mall like the plague, but on the rare occasions that I’m there at lunchtime, Rosa Pizza is really the only option for something decent to eat. This is the first time that I’ve had more than just a slice, and it’ll probably be the last. What’s the solution when your pizza is too big to fit in the box? Fold it, of course! The outer 3 inches of my boyfriend’s half of the pizza was folded over on itself( ). I guess maybe they’re not used to people getting takeout because going to the mall to pick up a pizza is no picnic, especially when you have other options. Their crust and cheese is good, but I personally think their sauce is too sweet. The price of the pizza was good; under $ 10 for a humongous ½ cheese, ½ pepperoni and mushroom pie. Overall I would say that they’re good for a quick slice; not so much for a whole pie(unless maybe you’re picking it up for a kid’s birthday party). There’s much better out there.
