I started seeing Ileana in 2012 for Ayurvedic consultations and treatments. She has been a wealth of knowledge who has helped me transition into a healthier lifestyle at my own pace. It is a joy to visit her for our consultations and treatments, and I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed with a positive, healthy outlook. I would highly recommend Ileana if you are looking for massage treatment or an Ayurvedic consult.
Ileana also shines as an esthetician. In May 2013, she did bridal makeup for my best friend’s wedding. She went WAY above and beyond to make the experience extremely special — her prices for trial makeup session, day-​of makeup and bridesmaids makeup were the best in town. She also opened up her studio to the bridal party so we could all get our makeup done and change into dresses in the same place. I wish we could give Ileana a 10-​star review, she is fabulous!!!

Ileana is the best massage therapist I’ve ever used. She has this way of finding what parts of my body need work, even if I don’t tell her. She is extremely professional and provides an invaluable service that helps me live a better life, pain & drug free.

Very nice, very clean and relaxing place. Ileana is highly professional massage therapist. After her massage I felt light and rested. I think this is the way you should feel after massage. I received a gift certificate for massage for Christmas and found it couple month later. I did not know about her place and was skeptical at first, but after the first 90 minutes session I was absolutely convinced. I have tried a couple placed in Frederick before, but did not like it. I guess it did not «click». Now I am doing massage every week with Ileana.

i went to esthetics school with the owner of this incredible place, so i know her work inside and out. before becoming an esthetician, ileana was a licensed massage therapist, and i had the pleasure of getting a small sampling of her talent while learning the art of skin care.
her specialty is still massage, but i know that she gives an incredible facial and does great waxing and makeup services as well.
in my opinion, the most important thing about a massage therapist or skin care therapist is their hands. ileana has appropriately named her place of business «the healing temple» because she truly has hands that heal.
her massages are thorough and concentrated on areas that you need to heal the most, and her care and soft-​spoken nature immediately make you feel at ease.
i haven’t gotten a professional massage in a year, but the minute i have a chance to make the long flight back to maryland, i’ll also take the long drive to frederick to see my old friend and get one of her signature massages that heals all pain and makes the world a better place. trust me. if you live far from frederick, its worth every penny if you make the trek.
