The One And Only Barber Shop

Great old fashioned shop. The guys are very detailed and will make you look good. Be aware though, they are very slow. I recommend them if you have some time to kill. Took about 1 hour for 1 regular haircut including the wait time.

Moved to Frederick MD recently and realized I would be starting from the bottom when it comes to finding the right barber to maintain my image. I believe I lucked out on my first try. Yesterday Monk from «the one and only» tighten a bro up with a regular. He also gave me some good suggestions for the up coming holiday. To me your barber suppose to be more than just a good technician of hair, but in my opinion should be versed in a variety of topics (sports, current affairs, life, etc.) from which to spark an interesting conversation adding to the overall experience. Monk knocked that out the park. Bro kept cutting till he made sure i was satisfied. See that kind of personable service you just can’t get everywhere.

It was a long time finding a walk in barber shop like the old days. Not waiting behind ladies just to get my hair cut or turned away because they just could not fit me in. No offense ladies. Then my son suggested The One And Only Barber Shop. Now they cut my sons hair, grandsons and mine. Great place, great service and great cuts. Check them out. By the way, they also do appointments.
