Physically beautiful store well stocked with books, candles, herbs, and stones. Unfortunately, the entire time we were there, close to half an hour, there was a very loud and negative, personal conversation going on between two of the staff. They could not even stop talking long enough to acknowledge us when approached the cash register to pay. Finally, another clerk came from elsewhere in the shop to assist us at the counter. Very negative experience, the opposite energy one would expect from a metaphysical shop. Never again.

I never know that I need something from this store until I get there. I have been practicing Tai Chi since 1986 and am also a certified Level 1 Qi Gong instructor, so I just go to the store with my wife and just let my Self fade away into the background. Inevitably, something will reach out to me. The weird thing is that I am never looking at it and have to hunt for it. Today, I would up purchasing an owl dreamcatcher and an evil eye protection amulet. I found the amulet when I was on the hunt and, when my wife came over to ask what it was, I looked up and saw the dreamcatcher and knew immediately that it was what I was supposed to find.

I found this to be a delightfully witchy metaphysical store. I don’t make it to Frederick much, but I will definitely return if I am in the area. Lots of herbs and stones and books for all types of people on the spiritual path. The person at the counter was very helpful when I asked for an explanation of why to use one herb vs another, so not only was the staff accommodating, they seem to really know their products and craft.

This store is a wonderful resource. It is a community center as well as store that supplies the local metaphysical, Pagan and New Age communities. It provides classes, workshops, Tarot and rune readers, mediums, healers and more! Including a healthy-​sized book section and some lovely jewelry, this store has lots to offer.

Who would have ever know that your destiny or even your past life was awaiting in a small shop hidden away in a strip mall in Frederick. The owls nest features rocks, books, and all things metaphysical. There are even two small booths were trained astronomers, palm readers and other lovely people come to give you readings and enlightenment. This «enlightenment» has a fee but it’s worth it!
