The Perfect Blend Cafe

We used to come here quite frequently because they had the best iced coffee in town. Something changed and now it’s by far the worst. Change of owners? Brands? Not sure but it’s a tasteless watered down mess. Actually threw out what I bought. Hope they reconsider what changes they’ve made. I loved having other coffee shops to choose from.

Always really good from The Perfect Blend. Disclaimer, I actually don’t drink coffee, but these guys make fantastic wraps, sandwiches, soups and smoothies. We go here from work at least once a week and I’ve never had anything bad from this place. Everything is fresh. There are some pre-​made sandwiches and salads in the counter but they’re not soggy, manufactured elsewhere or anything like that. They’re fresh, made same day and look/​taste that way too. Usually a pretty good selection of bakery items as well.
Staff is always friendly and really efficient. Small place so don’t expect to go sit down in there with endless tables. There are a few but it’s best to grab and go during peak times.
If you have’t, give this place a go. It definitely caters to the downtown walkable crowd, as there’s not great parking other than the parking deck a block down, so I imagine it’s not worth the effort to drive into downtown just to come here, but if you live and/​or work locally, it’s a really awesome spot!

I have lived through many incarnations of cafés at this location, and this is the best by far! From the mural on the walls to the tasty coffee and other drink blends, to the mostly pre-​made sandwich selections and desserts, I find it unique and delightful. I’d much rather spend my break time and money here than at Starbucks a couple of blocks away! Definitely worthwhile!

I go almost every day, at the very least for a cup of coffee. I love their Baltimore Blend. It’s a perfect cup of coffee, and a great price. Every single time I’ve gone, I’ve received excellent, fast, and super friendly service. I’ve never gotten a bad drink or pastry, and I’ve tried a lot of their menu. Their muffins are so moist and amazing. The egg and cheese, and turkey-​bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches are my favorite food items to order. (I’m usually there for breakfast.) Everything is always fresh and delicious. It’s cheaper and waaaaaay better than fast food and the big corporate cafés. Support your local coffee shop!!!

They serve Baltimore Coffee Company coffee which is pretty darn good. I admit this isn’t my favorite coffee shop in the area since it’s really small so you can’t chill out for awhile … and parking can be a hassle during busy times due to its location. I do want to stop by for lunch at some point and plan to update my review down the road.
I’ll always patronize those shops since I loathe chain places — Perfect Blend is definitely worth checking out.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Me and my sister came here because of the great reviews, I got a bagel sandwich and she got a bagel with cream cheese. Neither of the bagels were toasted. The workers couldn’t be bothered to put the cream cheese on themselves. The bacon on my sandwich was chewy and sparse, the cheese was not melted and plastic-​y and the egg was a cold grey disk of nastiness. SO YUCKY Y’ALL!!!

This truly was the perfect blend! I went there for the first time last night for a quick bite before a graduation celebration, and they had a «Nutty Irishman» special — Irish cream and hazelnut coffee… what more could a girl ask for?
Now sometimes when you ask for a frozen blended coffee, it comes out watery or the ice pieces are too big and the coffee tastes off… This totally was NOT the case! I don’t know how they did it, but it was a perfect balance of ice, coffee, syrups, and cream! Almost to the point that it tasted like a milkshake!
I would totally recommend this place to anyone who is just walking around Historic and beautiful downtown Frederick and need a wonderfully delicious «Pick-​me-​Up»!

I was just thinking, «Man, I could sure use a 3:00pm pick-​me-​up right about now.» when The Perfect Blend caught my eye! Perfect indeed! I ordered a double cappuccino from the smiling barista and after adding a little sugar, I was on my way!
I’m not often in Frederick, but next time I’ll linger a little longer and see what else this spot has to offer!

I have had a few different lattes and a flavored coffee. I love the Starry Night Latte and the Frosty’s Favorite flavored coffee. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious! Try the Prosciutto, Fresh Mozzarella and Egg on a Croissant add pesto, it is to die for! The staff is very friendly and they always have a smile on their face! You can definitely tell the employees enjoy their job. Very convenient location for me, glad to have a great coffee shop nearby.

Perfect coffee shop. Great food, including pastries. Coffee is excellent too. Everything is reasonably priced, and the building it’s located in is gorgeous!

I love good, little coffee shops, and this is definitely one of them. They have a nice selection of stuff, and the employees are friendly.
The only bummer is that they close kind of early, but other than that, this is a great place to grab a coffee.
