My doctor switched me to a different medication because Walgreens offered a good discount on it. The first time I came, they simply said they couldn’t get it without any further explanation. The pharmacist was extremely rude and treated me like I was scum.
Two weeks later, I returned and they said they would fill it that day only to call and tell me it would be the next day. No problem I told them.
I come back two days later and they tell me that they can’t fill it because my insurance is not contracted with Walgreens. I have already been a day without my medication at this point.
They told me that didn’t intend on filling my prescription but they would this time. I am now waiting on it because I have no choice. I can’t go anywhere else.
I highly recommend that if you have the option, you go somewhere else. I have seen multiple customers treated very poorly just in the three times I have been here.

As I was coming in the parking lot one of their employees was outside smoking and talking to a customer who later got into his truck and drove off. The employee went back into the store as he walked in I noticed he was wearing yellow vans which I know is not in the uniform policy. It’s no big deal they are just shoes, however once I got inside their manager was wearing gray sweatpants with black stripes. Not to mention their other employee was wearing Jordan’s. Professional appearance was non existent. Lastly before I grabbed what I needed I had to use the restroom however they were locked with a code pad I tried opening it and all I heard was someone blasting music inside. I assumed they were being cleaned, then an employee came out and just went back in. Overall they aren’t very professional.

I will start out by saying I love Walgreens sales and point system but for some reason this Walgreens can’t get it right. I go there when it’s a sale i checkout and the sale items don’t ring up on sale. They say the sale prices are not downloaded in our system than why are the sale signs up! Why does this happen every time I come here and purchase a sales item. I ordered holiday cards on December 14^th and they are suppose to be picked up December 15^th at 9am. I go to pick up my holiday cards at 6pm and they tell me I was suppose to get a call this morning saying they have no more ink. The supervisor apologized but that’s not enough she also offered me 30% off but they have a coupon for that so basically she did nothing for my in-​convince.

I am fairly new as a resident here in Frederick, Maryland. It took me a few months to finally find a pharmacy covered by insurance that also has a knowledgeable and caring Pharmacy and customer service staff. Unlike other pharmacies in the area which, sadly, are staffed with rude uncaring individuals and rarely keep their shelves stocked at even a minimally acceptable level, this pharmacy at Walgreens in Frederick Maryland amazingly seems to have my regular medications stocked. Additionally the staff is always very professional, very helpful and a team of people in which I feel I can bestow my trust as it relates to that side of my health care. I am very– very happy with my new local pharmacy, Walgreens, Frederick, Maryland.

For some reason, each time I’ve come in here has been me rushing in 15 or 20 minutes before closing. Other stores immediately tell you they’re closing soon and rush you out but not here. The cashiers are always professional and polite.
On my last visit, there were 2 ladies working. When I finished my transaction, the one not behind the register said she walk outside and stand at the door to make sure I got in my car safely (out of her own initiative). I thought that was awesome of her, and made me feel like there are still nice people in the world. I wish I’d gotten her name so I could call corporate about her!
This Frederick location has been my only experience with Walgreens and I’ve found that the store is well stocked and neat. Prices are cheaper than CVS, and the pharmacy is open until 10 p.m. on weekdays.
