2 Wee Cottages Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I loved this little cottage. It was so cozy and the hospitality was wonderful. Kate’s treats were divine! I especially enjoyed the water feature and hammock in the back yard. We both left relaxed and refreshed. We will stay there again in the future.

This is more like six stars! I could not stop raving about the place for a week. The PERFECT romantic getaway!
I was planning a weekend trip with my fiancée and just happened to check her availablity calandar and see that Valentine’s weekend had opened up (apparently a couple had broken up and cancelled just hours before. which Kate said is the only way I could have gotten such a weekend)
It is owned by a cute couple named Kate and Skip. They have put ridiculous amounts of work and care into making this place perfect. The two guest housesand the hosts’ house are separated and even have separate partking. in fact I never saw the other guests. nor our hosts the entire time unless they were bringing something I had asked for (such as the complimentary movies and popcorn) or when we arrived and Skip showed us around. Total and complete privacy. There was a hammock and a sitting swing outside as well as our own private hot tub on our screened in porch.
Each day, when we arrived from our outings of the day, there was fresh baked breakfast and a loaf of bread. Breakfasts included donuts and pastries while we were there as well as the provided cereal, milk, oj, Each day, there was also a fresh cake waiting for us on the porch. Kate’s food amazing and I just couldnt resist eating some of everything!
Everything (and I mean everything) we could possibly need was available in the cottage or provided upon request (Kate loaned me some of her personal hair conditioner). I mean seriously, there was even a sewing repair kit in the bathroom next to the emergency kit!
The privacy, the food, the hot tub… I can’t go on enough about this place! I will never visit another B&B in Fredericksburg!

My husband and I just spent 3 night at 2 Wee Cottages for our 10 year wedding anniversary. I can’t imagine a more relaxing time! We loved the concept of «invisible pampering» that 2WC provided. We were greeted shortly after arriving my one of the owners, Skip. He was very nice and showed us the ropes and where to find everything, run the hot tub, etc. The little house is very cute and cozy and QUIET. We were given fresh bread, cakes, and pastries throughout our visit. If there is one thing I learned on this trip it’s that I need a screened in porch with a hot tub! We enjoyed the heck out of the hot tub. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again!

When you plan to visit Fredericksburg give a thought to making it a very special visit; make a reservation to stay here with Kate and Skip. Your efforts will be rewarded! In a word… FABULOUS. So much love is present; it felt like we were being hugged, so much love was put into making every part of our stay just wonderful.

We arrived, went to our cottage as instructed and immediately knew it was a super good choice. Skip, the owner, came over to see us about 15 minutes after our arrival. He walked us through the «how-​to» for staying, operating things, where to find the coffee grounds, etc. The fresh baked bread Skip provided was delicious as was all the food during our stay. (Dona says to mention the chocolate cake provided for the afternoon snack — it was to «die for» she says). Skip said he and Kate were both available during our stay but would honor our privacy.
Our stay was FABULOUS. This is beyond five stars. Thank you so much Skip and Kate. I hope everyone gets the chance to meet you and spend some time in a cottage. We hug you right back!
