Amtrak

My biggest issue with this station is the hard to hear announcements or at least a sign to determine what side of the track the train will arrive on. One of the more recent times I boarded there, I damn near missed my train because it was on the opposite side of the platform. Thankfully, they were offloading a passenger in a wheelchair which gave me and two other passengers time to haul ass across the building to make it to the train on time.
There’s a TV there that VRE uses for their arrivals/​departures, so I’m surprised Amtrak doesn’t have that info on the screen as well.
Hopefully soon, Amtrak will start serving the newly-​built Spotsylvania station which VRE also uses, that would be a hell of a lot more convenient.
