We absolutely loved this wonderful place! Owned by the sweetest people that really take care of you. The samples are to die for and the wine tasting was excellent. We will definitely be returning here for day trips.

Fredericksburg during peak peach season. Some places are better than others. For our experience here, we were disappointed. We purchased a box of peaches for $ 28. We were told the peaches were hand-picked and the best of the best. When we return to our hotel we discovered that around half of our box had either holes(black open hole in the middle of a raised bump) or bruised. We will definitely not return in the future. Earlier in the week we found honest vendors so we know there are much better options in the area.

Clean historic store! They invented The raspberry chipotle sauce! Tons of samples ready to try and wine tastings! can’t beat it! I love this on top of goat cheese and crackers, a great appetizer. They also have a smokehouse bacon chipotle sauce that I went back for thirds of :-)

Nora is tha best most friendly… I’d come back just to enjoy her conversation! The selection in the store is absolutely awesome and if you review their store on Unilocal or TripAdvisor they will give you a free jar of sauce which is quite awesome… The land is absolutely phenomenal I would walk around if I didn’t have to go back home… But I absolutely adore this place I will be back the next time that I’m in Fredericksburg… I just hope that Nora is there to help me with another wine tasting when I come back!

Wow! This is truly a hidden gem! My husband and I visited Das Peach Haus for the first time on our last trip to Fredericksburg. First we stopped at their fruit stand to buy blackberries. Then, we headed to their shop. You can sample most of the items in the store. They have wine testings as well(I recommend the blueberry wine — divine). The owners are really nice and offer recipe suggestions for the sauces they sell. We’ll definitely be back!

Delicious jellies, sauces, and wine! You can sample all the things. There’s a patio in the back so you can drink the wine you purchase. Very friendly staff. You can’t go wrong with the Original Raspberry Chipotle Sauce and those addicting flatbread crackers that they sell. They also have a section of ready made soups or starters. If you’re ever visiting Fredericksburg, add this to your list of places to check out!

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner I highly recommend taking your special someone to this romantic spot. You can taste all of the specialty jellies and sauces free of charge and sip on the delicious wines for a medium pricey fee but it includes a wine glass to commemorate the occasion. Then take a stroll by the pond and sit on the swing with your sweetie.

Do not drive past this great rest spot! Tommy will gladly serve you peach cider or peach wine. Take a stroll around back and soak in tranquility by the pond. We caught the lily pads in full bloom and rocked in the swing. Step back in time and forget your cell phones… Just relax. Enjoy the flavor. We didn’t get to stay in the B&B but it appears well kept.

In the mood for peach ANYTHING? You must come here and sample everything! Peach sauce, preserves, salsa– and they’ve got tons of other flavors too. I sampled like 10 things and thought everything was amazingly delicious. Their peach cobbler was pretty tasty– I highly suggest ordering some and going out by the picturesque mini lake out back. Sit in the bench swing and fall in love with Fredericksburg, TX and begin your obsession with all things peachy!

This little quaint place caught my eye on our way to Enchanted Rock(which is also a must do) but we didn’t stop by(we were too anxious for ER). On the way back, there were tons of peach vendors out and I couldn’t help but to pull over at the Peach Haus. They have such a huge selection to choose from and all looked delicious! They also had many samples out from their famous Fredericksburg peaches to their salsa. I checked out the salsa collection and didn’t see that they had the Das Peach Haus salsa to sample which stunned me a bit but the employees didn’t hesitate in opening a bottle for me to try. Which I’m glad I did because it is my new favorite salsa! Das Peach Haus salsa is perfection! The perfect salsa to compliment anything esp. having a spicy kick to it. My boyfriend is big on hot and spicy but this one definitely made a mark in his book. Old Fashion Peach preservative is a must! Just try it and thank me later.

Great fun! Lots of things to sample including some great wine. The place is really cute and has a wonderful patio out back to relax, drink a glass of wine and look at the beautiful serene lake view. Ask Leo to pour you a few samples of wine and tell you about Italy.

This place is cool, again on the pricey side, but so is just about everything in Fredericksburg, TX it seems. We liked this place and the owner… who was very friendly and chatted us up. He gave my husband a much needed tip about wearing sunscreen when hiking! Lol! I sampled a peach wine and it was delicious, not too bad at $ 23.00 a bottle.(I recommend the Lone Star Gold Peach wine!)

So happy we stopped here while visiting Fredericksburg for the day. The shop is cute and full of homemade treats. We ordered a slice of peach cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to share and ate it outside on the back patio(we’re still dreaming of this cobbler). When we were done, we walked the grounds and found the small lake out back and sat on the dock. We brought our dog Basil, who loved the land as much as we did. It’s a cute place to bring girlfriends, the whole family, or even a romantic date. Oh yea, we bought some tomato basil soup to go. The girl said it would«last us forever» but I don’t think she realized how much we would like it. It lasted us one serving.

Main street was packed and I just wanted to buy a couple of things, so thought I would stop here on my way out. Das Peach Haus is in an old farm looking building, and decorated beautifully on the inside. It is mainly filled with homemade jams(blackberry nom nom), salsas, marinades, mustards, etc. Toward the front they did have peaches, but the basket I purchased had either spoiled or bad peaches:-(. Should have checked it before I left. The back did have a wine tasting room, but none for me since I still had quite the drive. The stuff is pretty marked up, but I would stop again and check out the wine room and walk around the grounds.

Had a great visit. My honey & I were on a little mission in Frederickburg to visit a few wineries. Our first stop… Das Peach Haus!!! Its right there on your way to Main Street so we just could help ourselves! Very cute & cozy little shop. They sell jams, jellies & coffee as well as a few odds and ends. I believe that they also serve food & even cheese to pair with your wine. Head to the very back of the building where the FUN begins! Wine sampling is free! Yes you heard right FREE! You don’t have to tell us winos twice! Very unique Texas wines to sample some I’ll probably never find anywhere else. Once we both found a glass we like we grabbed a glass and headed to the back where we found the most awesome man made pond/lake. They had these awesome huge cut tree trunks they you can sit on as well as swings. They also had a wooden deck with a few tables & chairs. Very cool! This would be a great place for perfect date night or even a little girls trip!

This place is a fun place to visit. Many different jams made with different locally sourced ingredients. A little pricey, but not ridiculous. They also offered wine tasting, and the wines were also quite interesting. Selections like mead, or wines made from different fruits. As other reviewers said, it does kindle that German spirit. Apparently my German car occupied by a German dog wasn’t enough for my German mother and I, so we came here and then visited other businesses in Fredericksburg.

I love it here! Such nice salespeople and fun to have their free wine tasting and learn about the town from the locals. They also have great jellies, sauces, coffee, and fantastic sauerkraut! Mom’s Tomato Basil Soup is outstanding as well! I also like to stop here and use their outhouses for a rest stop and take my dog for a walk to the pond out back and the vineyards. It is very restful and peaceful. They have a really cool log cabin too that was brought in from Virginia, so there is lots of history here. This is a MUST stop when you go to Fredericksburg. They also have a location at 315 Main Street. I haven’t been to that one yet, but I am sure it’s good. You can also get Fischer and Wieser products online or in the grocery stores like HEB, Whole Foods, Sprouts, and Central Market.

Knowing that the girls and I were going to Fredericksburg and finding out it was a German town, we were trying to get into the German swing. I saw the sign«das Peach Haus» on the drive in and went ecstatic. «We have to go there!» I didn’t care what they actually had in there, I just had to stop by. First thing off the bat, the scenery was so pretty! We used it as our last stop for tons of photo ops. The building is old fashioned, and they had a little rocking chair in front. Inside they had a bunch of things to shop for, jellies, jams, coffee, wine, and of course what I was waiting for, some peach dessert. I opted to get their peach cobbler and made it ala mode. What’s that you say, free wine tasting too? Bring it on! I sampled the peach wine, the late harvest riesling, and I believe their cab sav as well. Free coffee too? sure thing! It was a caramel flavored coffee, which was also delicious. We were told we could also explore the areas out back. The trees, the small pond, all made it seem as if I wasn’t in Texas. More photo ops. This stop is definitely worth it.
