Excellent stop for breakfast while traveling on the highway. Service was very friendly and extremely fast and fresh! Prices were great, everything was very clean. Certainly beats any chain style restaurant. We had traditional eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, corned beef hash. Kids had pancakes. All of the food was above average. Definitely worth the stop.

My mother and I went out to breakfast at Forum and we had a pleasant experience. They make their breakfast gravies from scratch; I had the chipped beef and my mom had the biscuits and gravy. The food was ready quickly and very reasonably priced. The gravy was definitely above average, but not phenomenal. The atmosphere has a casual, family owned restaurant feel and most of the patrons were families or groups aged 40+. If you’re in this part of Fburg and looking for a casual, inexpensive and good hardy breakfast; check this place out. I wouldn’t drive all the way across town to eat here, but I’d definitely have breakfast at Forum again if I was in the area.

This is probably my 4th visit to the forum and it’s very consistent: good food, attentive service and comfortable. This trip I ordered the all meat omelet. The ham, bacon and sausage is mixed in the eggs and the center is gooey cheese. Sadly they don’t offer grits but the fried potatoes are crispy and tender but not greasy. No fancy menu just southern diner fare(they serve scrapple). I still love the ghetto omelet Bottom line good good and reasonable prices. No 5th start because of lack of grits and mediocre coffee.

Always drove by here but never thought about stopping. Well that changed and I will be back again! Before we left to go to the Redskins game my step dad wanted to come here for breakfast. I was hesitant at first but once we arrive the place was packed and I knew the food was going to be good. I order the chipped beef with 2 eggs, hasbrowns and toast. Let me just say nothing beats a fresh steaming hot breakfast and you get that here. My friend said why don’t you just lick the plate and honestly I thought about it. For 3 meals we only paid $ 21! Incredible! The staff was very nice and kept the drinks full. I hope we make this a tradition every Sunday before a home game!

Great service. We were greeted pleasantly at the door and given just the right amount of attention throughout the meal. Food is decent diner food, though on the bland side. I had two fried eggs with home fries, sausage and toast. The sausage was thin and crispy, and a little dry. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Home fries were not bad, but a little bland. I would go back and probably will, for average diner food served in a clean restaurant by friendly staff.

Have gone here numerous times for breakfast because this is the one place that serves scrapple. Think of it as a diner without the jukeboxes at each table. Always get good service and the food is always hot and delicious.

This has to be the best kept secret in town, we have been before & just went again. Let me start with service, it was flawless — glasses never went dry, order was right, brought at the proper times, etc. Food was awesome, dinners came with soup, salad bread & desert. In our group we had chopped steak, Italian pasta, roast pork, roast beef & all were very good. The soups were great, they have the best French onion soup I’ve ever had. The place is clean, quiet & comfortable– if you like good homemade food & great service try them out.

Ate lunch here while on a business trip. The prices were very reasonable, particularly relative to DC. I had one of the specials of the day — roast pork, with mashed potatoes and green beans, iced tea, and rice pudding, for a mere $ 5.95. What a bargain! Not to mention, the pork was delicious! It was very tender, with a hint of garlic, lightly salted, with a delicious thin layer of fatty crust. I couldn’t have made it better myself. If I’m ever in the area again, I will go out of my way to eat that pork roast. By the way, there were about eight specials on the menu, ranging in price from $ 5.95 to maybe $ 7.95. They all included tea and desert. A friend had the spinach pie with Greek salad, which she said was good. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

This place was pretty tasty. As far as the price goes it’s a good value and the quality is better than the price. The sausage was very dry but the ham was pretty good. Everything else tasted pretty standard, not bad but not mind blowing

Eh it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. I got the steak and eggs. I was asked how I liked my steak and how I liked my eggs. I wanted a medium done steak but it was so thin it was well done. And it tasted like water. My eggs were fine but in seasoned as well as everything else. The home fries were unevenly cut so they were unevenly cooked and no season. But at least tasted like potatoes somewhat. My toast was perfect it was toasted and buttered, and not burnt which was nice. Last place burned the hell out of my English muffin, and it didn’t come buttered lol. So yes I agree with another reviewer that it was bland. It was definitely home cooked style. My love got the Greek omelet looked good and he got a side of scrapple which he liked cause many placed don’t serve that. Crazy thing they were out of HOTSAUCE. Like who doesn’t have hot sauce in stock. It could’ve definitely helped the flavor. I may go back to try something else like lunch or something. It was a busy little place though. This day at this time it seemed to be mostly older crowd and they had a couple take out orders as well.

This morning, we had a party of 10 there. They were very accommodating to our large party. I personally had the gyro omelet and it was very tasty. The food came out quickly and all commented that it was good. Very family friendly menu. We will be back on a regular basis.

Biscuits and gravy tastes like its powdered gravy. That’s sort of what I expect from a dinner though.

Wonderful food and excellent service. Generous portions. The dinner specials(which were numerous) came with soup, salad, bread and dessert! I had the Greek Combo and it was very tasty!

Went here for the first time for mothers day, and the food looked a mess but was very tasty and filling but a bit pricey for biscuits and gravy and eggs but this will be a every now and then place just not frequent but if you have not tried it i would tell you too atleast once.

This restaurant has a homey atmosphere and good service. However, our food was incredibly bland! I ordered the steak and eggs with home fried potatoes. The steak was cooked to my specifications, as were the eggs. But, my dad’s omelet was slightly overcooked and all of our food lacked flavor. My husband had the pancakes and they were decent and he really liked his corned beef hash. The price is pretty low.

First time here. Great eggs and scrapple for those that like it. Very inexpensive. I haven’t seen prices like these since the 80s 2 eggs and scrapple and coffee under 10 bucks with tip. Journey playing in the background. –wopr

Driving up 95 from Richmond to Western Maryland, we needed to stop for breakfast. After reading many reviews of restaurants in the Fredericksburg area, we decided on The Forum. Wow! I am so glad we stopped! Next time, we’ll bring the kids when traveling. I had a Greek omelet with gyro meat. Yum! Hubby had pancakes, eggs, and sausage. Great prices and great service from our server Cherel. We’ll be back!

Pancakes are solid, the bacon is crispy, and the omelets are perfect, but there were some issues. The home fries were very greasy and not crispy. They tasted like they had been cooked in the scrapple fat. The apple topping for my pancakes was cold and tasted like it was from a can. The waffles tasted like they were made from the same batter as the pancakes and were not crispy. Despite these oversights, I enjoyed my breakfast. It was good, but there are much better breakfast places in Fredericksburg. They do have a menu that includes dinner and features Greek diner foods, but I have only been here for breakfast.

Very basic but fresh, fast food. Gyro is delicious. Pancakes and all breakfast items are great. I’ll be back. A friend recommended we try this place. It’s a hidden gem. my 2nd visit they threw my eggs on my pancakes. i believe 95% of patrons would say… please dont do that! Pancakes are great.
