I came to this establishment a few months before they shut down(glad they did) and I swear I’ve had better food at a 7⁄11! I don’t know where to start… First of all I don’t understand how people who run restaurants don’t understand the simple concept of hygiene. The main worker there. Wasn’t sure whether they were female or male? But they were very clearly sweating profusely and and literally ran his/her hand across their forehead and than handled my food!!! At least wash your hands cmon man!!! And they food was extremely mediocre I tried their double cheeseburger(can’t remember the name of it) but honestly people I’d rather have gone to McDonald’s. It’s disappointing because apparently their food was amazing when the grandfather was alive. Guess they couldn’t keep up the business up as well as it was in its prime. Glad it shut down!

Well I read about this place in the paper as well and decided to try it. I was really hoping for something spectacular but was disappointed. The meat reminded me of McDonald’s patties, except it’s steamed.

So I’ve read about this place and was very curious about it. I’ve also heard they had amazing burgers by word of mouth. It’s inside a Gulf gas station. Just walk into the entrance of the gas station, pass the gas station cashier, and to your left you’ll find where you can order your food. There are two tables for you to sit at but we didn’t really feel comfortable eating there. It’s more of a take out place. Is it the best burger we’ve ever had? Short answer is no. But it was a very good burger, especially for the price and location(inside a gas station!). We’d gladly eat at this place over any burger fast food place. I had the king burger, which had a special sauce that reminded me of thousand island. It’s a double decker with a slice of bun in the middle, kind of like the big mac. I thought the king burger might be too big for me but it was just perfect –not too big that I couldn’t finish it but big enough to make me full. My favorite part was that it had lots of cheese on it! Hubby had the Tiny’s favorite, which was a 1⁄3 lb burger, which came with bacon. He was very happy with his burger and his favorite part was the charred buns. They toast both sides of the bun, not just the bottom. He was very happy with the fries and they were still crispy by the time we got home to eat, 10 minutes later. I thought the fries were just okay but not bad. The burgers are not greasy… I read somewhere that they cook it and then steam it. Price for two deluxe burgers and two fries was about $ 12. I tempted to get some dessert from the gas station convenience store. A candy bar or some twinkies while waiting for your food to be cooked? Currently they open only weekdays and are open from 6am to 2pm. They serve breakfast foods and several sandwich selections(tuna, chicken salad, etc). Lunch starts at 11am. Seems like a nice group of people and definitely family owned. There are pictures of menus on their facebook page and we’ll probably call in our order for pick up next time. Edit: They now have extended hours and open on Saturdays.
