had the sliced brisket sandwich and a can of Coke. The sandwich was large slices of brisket on white bread. Brisket was well marbled with very little trimming, if you like it lean, this isn’t it. It was tender, good smoke, nice bark, but a bit light on the flavor side, little to no rub. Chips, pickles, onions, & jalapenos on the side. Oh, and the sauce, it’s more like salsa than BBQ sauce.
Only outdoor seating.
The address is right, but the place marker in Unilocal is wrong.

We found this little gem on a Sunday morning when all the other local joints from Unilocal were packed. The lady in the store front was very nice and friendly. The breakfast tacos were amazing. Being from Houston we have tried many breakfast tacos and these were some of the best we have ever had. I would highly recommend the Trail Boss and my Husband enjoyed the brisket tacos.

Best BBQ I’ve had in YEARS! I ordered a brisket taco to eat there and it was delicious. Get it with pico! The pico was so fresh with a hint of spice, just the right amount. I was so impressed that I also took home a full rack of ribs, a pound of pulled pork, Spanish rice and BBQ sauce. The ribs were so tender and flavored perfectly. Spanish rice was incredible too. The pork was melt in your mouth. The sauce has great texture (not runny) and a hint of sweet. Place doesn’t look like much from from the road but the food was outstanding! Fast and friendly service. Can’t wait to go back. Worth the drive from San Antonio.

We’re new to F’burg and were looking for good smoked bbq. This is the place. The brisket was tender and delicious. The tacos (with brisket) were out of this world. We all loved the BBQ sauce. So here it is. Look no further.
