Our roof sprung a leak with storms approaching the weekend of October 3. Summit came out immediately, identified the problem and repaired it the next day before the rains arrived. Their men were courteous and efficient and I would recommend this company without hesitation. Price was reasonable too.

Nightmare. I contacted «Vir​gini​aAt​ticIn​su​la​tion​.com» which turns out to be Summit. A friendly guy came out and gave a quote for removing/​installing waterdamaged attic insulation, fixing a waterdamaged ceiling, and repairing a buckled wood floor, said it would take one day. After that it went downhill, even though it was a very generous contract (for Summit). After multiple put-​offs (including a delay so that «Carlos could be there to supervise») a crew finally showed up on a day of their choosing, not ours, and without Carlos. They used our old paint they found in the attic and evidently stopped when they ran out of our paint. Had to call the company to compel the workers to follow the contract. Had to have them come back multiple times; they splattered nonwork areas with paint. Job is still not done. Company was nonresponsive until they saw the Unilocal review. We had to bail with this company to cut our losses.

We awoke to the sound of critters in the attic, what we suspected were raccoons. I was terrified they would find a way into the house, so we called Summit the next morning who we used a couple years ago to remove coons from under our sunroom deck. Once again, we had excellent and prompt service, with Donna and Chris fitting us in their schedules the day after the latest snowstorm. Chris was always available by phone and came back each day to check the traps. They found the bent louver screens on the gables where the animals entered and fixed all of them around the house. They inspected the attic for damage, droppings, or coon babies, and found none. Everyone we have worked with there has a commitment to serving the customer, hard to find these days!

Last week I started hearing noises in my attic again. Last year I tried to do my own repairs which obviously failed. So at my wife’s request to get a professional service company to come out, I caved and agreed. I’m happy and relieved I did!
Summit came out inspected my roof, attic and cutter line. They evicted these unwanted tenants and just in time because they had not done a lot of damage. I was relieved because my budget is tight. They showed me pictures in my attic and roof showed me how they were getting in. The gave me game plan on treatment and provide before and after pictures after everything was done. All came with a great warranty too! Summit Environmental Solution A+ in my book.
