Very poor service. Tried to buy a grilled already assembled. I was told to co. e back in a hour and it would be ready. Came back in two hours and it was not ready. The attitude at customer service desk wasn’t rude b I t sure wasn’t helpful. Needless to say I got my money back and I am headed to Lowe’s from now on

Home Depot has taken such a hit lately, thought I’d give them a rave…
This concerns a project undertaken with their vinyl privacy lattices + corner and linking accessories.
I used the lattices unconventionally — cut diagonally their full length (to fit the lay of the land), and used them for skirting beneath the lower veranda of our lodge. I first trenched a 3″ deept slot for the full length and sides of the veranda, settled in the lattices, and attached them along the top rails with around 100 stainless steel screws.
Beauty is, since they’re heavy vinyl, they never will rot (as does the wood product). The trenching gives them excellent lateral support.

Not the best visit. Went in for two simple things concrete and lumber. The concrete was not priced at all and a majority of the bags were broken. The lumber was priced wrong. The woman at the register was informed of the price error. She stared at the cart for a good 45 seconds (not exaggerating) before she said thank you. It was so awkward I just left.

What can I say, it’s a Home Depot. Aren’t these places all the same? This one is a bit inconvenient to get to, but it beats driving across town to the other one.

Scam much? So my husband and I had been on the prowl for a washer and dryer and decide to check out Home Depot. As always, the customer service was great. Well, maybe great is too inaccurate of a an explanation. See, when shopping for high dollar amount appliances, the sales person will ask if you would like for them to check the prices of other stores. Seems like a good deal, right? Well it’s not! Home Depot’s system compares its sale/promotional price to the non-promotional prices of other stores even if the other stores are running a promotion. How do I know this? Well, after my husband whipped out the credit card and paid for the appliances, I insisted that we go to Best Buy. What a difference driving down the street will make! We were able to get the same exact set for $ 450 cheaper! What did my husband say? «You were right, babe.»
