Very friendly staff; extensive catalog from which they can order; helpful clerks; easy to miss place till you’re up on it because of nearby buildings; good supply of feed for wild birds, dogs, & cats

This is a farm and ranch supply store for those of you who’ve never been to a TS.
What Best Buy is to a techno nerd, TS is to a farmer/​rancher.
This store is fairly new. It’s only been here a few years. Because of a city ordinance (I was told) they can’t have a big sign up on a pole, so it’s on the ground which makes this place pretty easy to miss.
The employees are always super nice. I’ve never had a bad experience at this place and the reason I’m only giving them 3 stars is because they carry some of the same or similar items that you can find down the road at Wal Mart, but for a higher price.
Here’s an example. I bought a garden rake at Wal Mart for $ 6. I walked into to tractor supply and found one that looked identical (different brand) that was on «clearance» for $ 9.99. Please! What a rip.
I think if they could match or at least come close to matching their local competitors in price, you might see more people shopping here.
