So angry with Walgreens! I HATEHATEHATE them and their understaffed debacle! I wait in line for an hour just to pick up my prescription which takes me 10 seconds(What takes people sooooo long?) – and sometimes it WON’T EVENBEREADYAFTERWAITINGANHOURINLINE. Tried to switch pharmacies and had to switch back after I got an allergic reaction from the other pharmacies pills. SOUPSET!

Only 1 star and the pharmacy doesn’t even deserve that. I’ve made 3 trips after the automated notification called and advised me that my prescriptions where ready in the am the pm and at 11 pm. They never seem to have it ready and the staff has the habit of making up stories trying to always place the blame on the doctors staff.

I give negative stars if possible. This pharmacy is inept. 49 minutes in line with 5 people in front of me. Not to clerk… if someone’s prescription isn’t ready, go onto the next.

I would give less than one star for this place. They flat out lie regarding RX pick up times. Said it would be ready in 15 minutes, ended up being 1:45 mins! Dirty store too.

Like all Walgreens this Walgreens is massively hopelessly understaffed the drive-through takes an average of an hour. The pharmacist usually don’t know what they’re doing I need to call out for assistance four times out of five. They are cheap, that’s why people keep coming here.

It’s apparent that Walgreens does not care. If you read through the long list of negative reviews you can see a clear pattern. There is a «5 star» reviews in here, but I really do suspect it was placed by an employee. I’ve lived in Watsonville for almost 15 years. We’ve always used Walgreens for our pharmacy. In those(almost) 15 years I think I could count on one hand the number of times they have NOT screwed a prescription up. Frequent errors, failures and lack of any form of customer service seems to be the way this place works. The only positive thing I can say is that it’s funny to stand in line and hear other customers complaining about their own awful experiences at this pharmacy. –EVERY time we go in there, it’s a long wait. Doesn’t matter if there are 10 people in line at the pharmacy or no one, they just can’t seem to figure out that they actually have to serve the customers. –EVERY time we go in there, there is an «issue» with the insurance. They blame the insurance company, but it always turns out the Walgreens billed it incorrectly. –50% of the time when I go in there and there is a long line, the manager will wander through and send half the staff off on break or lunch. Look, I realize they need breaks, but when the line is 15 deep? Manager doesn’t seem to be able to do his/her job. –Many times we get the phone call that the prescription is ready, most of the time it isn’t. We end up going round and round and —ALWAYS — - end up waiting at least 20 minutes to pick up a prescription that is «ready». –When they tell you it will be ready in «20 minutes», it’s a lie. 20 minutes really means an hour and a half at least. I’ve been through this many times with them. –Do not ever fall for the trap of «wait here and we’ll call you when it’s ready». They don’t. You wait an hour and a half and finally go ask. They act surprised and tell you it’s been ready for an hour. «Sorry, we forgot». I’ve heard that more than once from them. –They have given me an incorrect prescription more than once. Incorrect syringes and needles also. They don’t seem to care. I’ve had to argue and yell at the pharmacist to get the correct items. They, of course, act like they have been inconvenienced. –You can stand at the head of the line and they will completely ignore you. Often. –They will pull people out of the«drop off» line and serve them before the people that have been waiting 45 minutes. –Customers just seem to walk up to the front of the line and get served. The staff seem completely oblivious to the long line of people that have been waiting. –They seem totally overwhelmed at all times, day or night. Doesn’t matter what time you go in, it’s a long wait. I just spent 45 minutes waiting in a line. Pharmacy had called and said my prescription was ready. Got an e-mail from them also. The blank-stare girl typed away at the computer for about 2 minutes and told me there«wasn’t a prescription» for me. Got sent down to another blank-stare girl who wandered off when I walked up to the window. Came back a while later and asked me what I needed. I told her the other(blank-stare) girl had sent me down. She didn’t seem to know what to do. She went and asked and came back and started searching for my prescription. The order of things went exactly like this: 1. There was no prescription waiting for me to pick up. 2. There was a prescription, but I’d already picked it up.(I hadn’t) 3. There was a prescription waiting for me, but they were waiting on the insurance to approve. 4. Back to no prescription waiting for me. 5. Prescription was in process, but they didn’t know what to charge me. 6. Maybe prescription had been picked up at another store. 7. I couldn’t fill the prescription because it was too early. 8. We’ll put the prescription in again and we’ll call you when it’s ready. I don’t know if this girl doesn’t know what she is doing or there is a serious problem with their computers. It seems like the pharmacist should be paying attention and getting things sorted out better. The entire group seems to be an aimless bunch that isn’t quite sure what they are supposed to be doing. There is a very obvious lack of supervision and management. It’s truly disappointing when a big name brand acts this way. You’d think someone, anyone at their corporate office would be paying attention and actually work to improve the customer service level. Since this has been going on for so long, it’s obvious Walgreen’s doesn’t care, doesn’t pay attention and has zero intention of addressing these issues. Not all Walgreens are like this, so I suspect it’s this store management and the pharmacist that have failed. I’d love it if someone, anyone, from Walgreens would contact me about this.

Horrible customer service, went to get allergies pills, I usually go to cvs, but today was just a reminder why I go to cvs. FYI waited for 30 minutes for them to get a key… What a joke

Every single time, I drop off or have a prescription sent here, we have to wait 20 minutes. It doesn’t matter if it is several hours later or just sent. They wait until you are there then they fill it. We have tried calling first and they say yes it is ready, same result. Argh!

I have given the pharmacy any number of chances, but never again. Horrible service. Waited in line for at least 20 minutes and moved up one position. 6 in line. While I was standing in line, they called an older gentleman to the counter who had been sitting down waiting after what I suppose dropping off his prescription. He was standing there 10 minutes and still was waiting while the clerk was attending to many other things. They take forever to answer the phone, I do not even do that anymore. Prescriptions not ready after being sent by the doctor 2 – 3 days after because they did not have some information needed, yet they never attempted to secure what they needed or advised. I spend hundreds of dollars each month and have now transferred all of my prescriptions. Try Rite Aid up the street, fast fulfillment and they message you when ready.

Horrible service, can count on waiting at least 20 – 30 minutes in line each time and prescriptions are rarely ready.

I’m writing this review as I wait in line for my second time today. My prescription should have been ready at 11:30 am this morning and after waiting 25 minutes in line they tell me it’s not ready yet and to come back 20 min later. Here I am again for the second time an hour later and it’s still not ready. They are short staffed uninformed and bad customer service. I asked for a copy of my prescription as I will be taking it else where.

Just came back yet again without my prescription. This pharmacy is the worst. I am going to have all my prescriptions transferred to Target. At least they let you know when your prescription is ready, and they do it in a timely manner.

The worse service! I’ve switched pharmacy because they have slow service. Pharmacy staff appear to be confused all the time. There is no difference in wait time if you try drive thru. Average wait time for pharmacy is 40min… that’s after meds are ready for pick up. I purchased their savings plan for meds but could not get the discount. They said their system was down and I had to wait a month for a refund.

Rude pharmacy employees drag their feet on filling prescriptions. Please boycott this pharmacy I left this pharmacy long time ago and they didn’t apologize when I told them about the reason I was leaving they just told me we don’t care, good bye.

It’s a nice Walgreen’s. They didn’t have what I was looking for. But, I did see a lot of great sales and i took advantage of some. A staff member asked me if I needed help and that doesn’t happen often. That was nice. I will be back again…

We were in Pajaro Dunes last year. I cannot run out of my meds for the sake of my marriage. My pharmacy in Stockton transferred my prescription to this Walgreens and like instant coffee… POOF! Marriage saved!

24 hour drug stores are fantastic. It’s for the nights you need a chocolate bar and chapstick at 2 am and there’s no where else to go. This Walgreens has really good sales as well. My mom and I always check the flyer they send in the paper because it has coupons for stuff we use constantly. I usually stock up on deodorant, chapstick and another toiletry type stuff here.
