Indoor amusement park. Very loud, Our daughter had an amazing time. Try to look for a deal before you come through travelzoo or groupon and sometimes they run specials for certain holidays like grandparent’s day. It seems pretty expensive but places like this always are. It’s nice because it is inside so no matter how hot or cold, you’re good to go. They have laser tag, bowling, boardwalk games and rides.

This is a great indoor play area. New and clean. Lot of fun rides. Friendly staff. Though, they are bit expensive. Hope to see more locations and ideally one in Somerset county soon.

I came here for the girlfriends birthday as she wanted to avoid partying. We shared and spent 50 $ for 120 digital tokens. This was a good amount to get us through the night. This place has a huge arcade with just about all of the fun arcade we grew up on.
They also have they fun little rides for kids. We decided to be big kids and jumped on the bumper cars. They were bumper cars with a twist though as you can spin in circles and get dizzy.
I wouldn’t waste my time with the laser tag though. Even though it has two floors it is really confusing and you constantly had to go to your base to reload. Also the guy giving us instructions had a really bad attitude problem.
We also tried out the bar/​restaurant. The wings were a solid option and my friend said they enjoyed the ribs.
Fun place to bring the kids or act like a big kid yourself. Make sure to check it out!

Definitely a kid friendly environment. Although I’ve seen a couple of places like IPlay America, this is definitely one of the only places I’ve seen around Central/​South Jersey (in my experience and knowledge). It’s very inexpensive especially if you wait for deals on their website or even Groupon has deals! We went for a friend’s birthday party and got the Groupon deal for $ 46ish (+ 20% off at the time, so about $ 36ish) for 2 people. That means it was under $ 20 per person for… Unlimited rides, 20 arcade coins (they swipe cards now) plus 250 tickets (for the arcade).
We mainly took advantage of the unlimited lazer tag part of the deal and definitely loved it. It was out first time, but it was intense and we came in a large group so we were able almost dominant the field. The only bad thing was that the vests/​guns you put on sometimes work and sometimes don’t work, which is a bummer especially when you anticipate winning or at least participating. Besides that you can switch your vest in the next game and hopefully it works.
Food is definitely expensive here, we wanted to try the bar, but we didn’t have room for it due to earlier activities. The only thing we got was water and for an average bottle that was $ 3. There’s a no outside food/​drinks allowed policy in this place, but they don’t seem to check and you can go outside and eat and come back if you have your pass on you.
Since I have no prior experience to a place like this (as in arcade + amusement rides) I rated this place a 4 star. It’s not a bad place, there’s probably better, but it’s definitely a nice place to have kids hangout and have fun without spending too much money. They even have deals for arcade tokens so you can give your child a budgeted amount and that’s all they can have.
Overall, it’s a very friendly environment and it’s amusing especially for kids. I don’t see this place being fun for adults, since most of the rides you have to be a certain height (under 70 inches and over 50 something to ride alone). However, it’s nice to play laser tag, bowling or even chilling at the bar if you’re older.
Also we went during the Halloween month, so they decorated really nicely and even had performances at 3pm and 7pm (we went on a saturday). They have chances for pictures and I believe even a trick or treating session for the kids.

I went here for the first time on my birthday. My friends and I stopped at the restaurant/​bar area for a quick bite and some beers. We sat at the bar and asked for a beer tower, which the rude bartender proceeded to tell us we had to be seated at a table. So we sat down and a nice man, who I believe was the manager quickly set us up with menus and everything we needed. After we ate, we played some games and would go back to the bar for drinks. The bartender would roll his eyes at us when we would ask for drinks. He severely lacked customer service. We asked a waiter for assistance and asked what the bartender’s issue was to which we were informed he has an attitude problem.
Basically, he was the biggest d*uche. Don’t go here. If you must, get a table and stay away from the male bartender. Don’t waste your money to get treated like sh*t.

It’s was a pretty good place overall. My boys had a fun time. Disappointed that the 2 rides they wanted to go on was not working. The only main issue that I have with this place is the soft play area. My husband had to go in with my youngest and he said it smelled so bad. With that being said, I’d like to know how often that play area is cleaned and sanitized. I washed my boys down as soon as we left that area. Should have been a bit more cleaner. It was fun though.

They raised the price for the unlimited ride band. Also one of the rides was broken and they wouldn’t give a discount. Most of the arcades didn’t work and took the money off of the card. This place is a giant rip off. Probably spend $ 150 in two hours. Never again!

I would’ve loved to give this amazing place 5 stars but I had a few issues, that were resolved after having to call a supervisor.
Where do I start? This place is simply fantastic! I can’t say anything negative about the place in itself but some of the staff were very rude to us. We took a random drive here from Brooklyn, NY and trust me the drive is very long (2 – 2.5 hours) depending on traffic. As always, I did my research on Unilocal and was shocked to see some negative reviews, so immediately I was reluctant on going. Little did I know, my husband purchased a groupon for only $ 38 which included 2 unlimited ride wristbands for our daughters along with $ 100 game cards for both he and I. Score!!! Cheap and very inexpensive with the Groupon deal.
Moving along, we arrived so late after 7:40pm because of terrible traffic. We were all starving for dinner at this point, so once we entered Iplay America, we chose to eat at GameTime Bar and Grill which is located on entrance. The wait staff at this Bar and Grill were amazing! Not 1 problems with them at all. The Food? It was heavenly and it came out within 10 minutes (Warning– the Food selection here isn’t large and it’s more like appetizers rather than full meals) however, it was very delicious. Everything was exactly what we ordered, our waitress was super fantastic so we tipped her $ 30! That’s a really big tip so you know she did her job the right way. LOL.
After dinner, we let the girls run freely through this place because they are teens and of course well behaved. My husband and I took the baby to the arcade where we played some great games. Tickets are loaded onto your card so no tickets come out of the games you’re playing. Every game and area is basically (Swipe your card) it’s a very modern day arcade area. (AWESOME RIGHT?)
There is so much to write about because this place is literally an indoor Boardwalk with rides (mostly for kids), games and more. Now let’s get to the reason why I took off just 1 star. I found my daughters on the line for the Go Karts, I had asked them if they enjoyed laser tag and to my surprise they didn’t even go because the staff at laser tag told them it needed to be reserved (which is does) but they were also told, it was fully booked (which is wasn’t) My husband went to fix the problem and quickly reserved 2 tickets and later reserved 2 more. On the line of the Go karts, the girls were excited, they finally reached the front after a very long 30 minute wait, only to be told they made the wrong side of the line and had to go all the way back. At this point I was upset and asked the staff nicely «She clearly can’t see the sign up that says which side of the line she was supposed to be in so she chose the adult side» clearly it doesn’t matter which side you’re on because everyone gets in the same carts regardless. The staff Rudely said «I don’t care, she has to make the line again» I asked nicely once again «Can you make an exception, the child didn’t know» he again says «No exceptions, you’re holding up the line, go to the back of the line» by now my patience has run thin and my potty mouth started up so I asked for his supervisor and told my daughter not to move. During this time, he said my youngest was unable to ride because my oldest wasn’t 18 years old regardless of her height. I was infuriated but kept my cool. I didn’t come from Brooklyn, all this way so that my girls would be upset like this. It took about 5 mins, the supervisor was awesome and let my girls ride together without a problem. She opened the gate and said «It’s fine she can go with her sister» she apologized and walked away. That fast, the problem was fixed. I was highly upset with the ride operators attitude. We didn’t deserve to be talked to like that and he should’ve known better.
Other than those 2 small mishaps, this place is simply amazing. We are planning another trip up here and I sure hope we don’t get treated like this again. However everyone else was great, the place is so much fun. The bathrooms are very very clean and large.

I’m just leaving here and it’s a complete rip off of my money. I paid for unlimited rides the most expensive package they have and was told I didn’t have enough credits for the go karts. I had to show the man working the go kart station my receipt to be let on the ride. Also it wasn’t so great because I’m not a kid and also don’t have kids. If your thinking of taking the kids it’s a great idea. Lots of games and rides. The laser tag is great for both adults and kids. Everything else seems made for children in my opinion. I won’t be returning.

My first time at iPlay America was pretty good. We went at night, were both 26 and we have no kids so from an adult perspective, it was fun. There is a restaurant/​bar right at the front that had surprisingly good food and beer. I had the mac and cheese and it was really good, my wife had a burger, also good, and our waitress was really friendly and attentive. The arcade games seemed average priced to me, stuff isn’t as cheap as it used to be. I like that you don’t have to use coins or tokens so it’s all on a card, as well as any tickets you earn, those go right on the card. I do, however, enjoy collecting my tickets from arcades so I miss that part. There were of course plenty of kids there but they weren’t terrible, it was sort of late so I would imagine, as an adult, maybe go at night or an off time to avoid many screaming kids. We didn’t play the laser tag or race go carts so I can’t speak to them. Overall, it was a pretty good way to spend a couple of hours.

Traveling here from Nyc was worth it for the experience!

So we got here around 1015, suprisimg no one was here, we got all the rides to ourselves, awesome!!!
The staff was super friendly, the prices for the game credits was worth it, wasnt expensive. They had 2 choice of wristbands for unlimited rides. They have a few kiddie rides, and a section of arcade games. Go kart race track. Good amount of tables.
The design in here made it feel like i was in a themepark, the flooring was like a broadwalk, theres kites hanging in the ceiling, walls painted with a rollercoaster ferriswheel background.
If I didnt have to travel here I would bring the boys back. Great for the summer if you dont want to stay in the sun for hours.

I’m giving 3 stars because I have enough reasons to give it 2 stars OR 4 stars.
If I had kids this place would be 4 stars. This place is relatively close to home with every small child amusement possible. Even if they are a smaller rendition then you’d like you’re not going to get all this 30 min from home without having a beach house. Go Karts, Laser Tag, Claw Games, and Arcade games. Maybe I’m a little out of the arcade circuit, but some games have gotten pretty sweet. (No Silent Scope) However I don’t have kids. Double However, There is a bar. Not just a bar a bar that shows UFC and has Lagunitas Lil Sumpin’. They have a wall they use a projector on to show UFC fights. Hooters doesn’t even have that going.
Sounds pretty good for kids or adults right? That’s kind of the problem. It isn’t really good for both or should I say Adults that want to feel like Kids. Laser tag could be a really good time if it was separated into maybe adult and child games? The game length really needs to be longer for the price as well. Same goes for Go Karts. It’s quite the short ride on a small track.
Kids will go Crazy. Adults without kids only come for the bar.
I hope by the time I have kids this isn’t the place with the urban legend about finding a needle in the ball pit.

Very interesting concept — it feels more or less like an indoor Jersey Shore amusement pier. There are a handful of rides (mostly for the kids), a handful of boardwalk games, and several handsful of various types of arcade amusements. You buy your credits up front and get them on a card, then go around spending them however you please. Some games give you prizes, some give you tickets, some are just there for the enjoyment.
The execution: I guess it works. The parking lot was packed on a Saturday night with several parties, but there weren’t long lines anywhere. The whole place felt pretty small. They could use another go-​kart track and laser tag arena, since those had the longest waits (we had to book 2 hours in advance to get a laser tag time). There were probably too many car racing games, not enough pinball, too many basketball shooting games, not enough air hockey… Minor things that can be tweaked. Reasonable prices at 50 cents per credit: 1 – 2 credits for most of the games, up to 6 credits for the most popular activities (rides and laser tag).
The place feels fairly new, so maybe they’ll evaluate the games and rotate a few of the more popular ones into slots occupied by less popular ones. If this catches on and gets more crowded, it’s going to get overwhelmed. When I was there, I basically rotated between three activities (skee-​ball, air hockey, I already forget the third). Could have used more pinball, and not the timed Wizard of Oz machines (timed pinball? c’mon, man!). If they could get some more space, maybe even some vertical space, they could add more attractions for older kids, parents, and adults who want to enjoy being kids again. (I’d pay more to have real bowling instead of the plastic-​pin glorified skee-​ball in the back.)

I think it’s good for what it is. I’m a guy who loves to hang around the arcade area so that was the place I spent the most time.
Most of the games didnt catch my attention as much but it was nice to seem Time Crisis 3 and a few other kick ass rail shooters like Deadstorm Pirates (Also hello Soul Edge cameo) although its a shame there is a lack of Fighting games and other arcade Classics. (Least Ms. Pac-​Man and Galaga was there)
The layout was nice. I mean the whole concept of an indoor boardwalk (With buildings and streetlights and what else) was a fun concept and had nice atmosphere
Although I’ve noticed this is mostly geared towards kids than both kids and adults. But its not a bad thing. I actually went with my… um girlfriend? (Doesn’t matter) and we ended up liking the place for what it was. Although I did expect more to do (Not much a ride person) I think it hits the right marks.
So yeah if you got a family I think it’ll work out okay. Just be prepared for overpriced food: P

What’s great is that the kids will never get bored as long as you’re willing to spend the money to refill the card, it is well worth it. Can become and expensive habit lucky me I don’t live nearby so for us it’s once every few month.

Pros: Definitely entertains my 8 and 6 years old. It’s fairly new, clean, and has laser tag, bowling, go carts, Boardwalk games, tickets are automatically added in your purchase card so know need to carry tickets around or use the count machines, plenty of parking, decent dining/​snack options.
Cons: pricey, broken machines that deducts credits on your card but machines won’t work, crowded during weekends but then again so is chucky cheese and funplex.

To be honest, I would probably have really enjoyed this place and the activities. However, the end of the night ruined the experience for me and the rest of my group of friends that went.
We had gone for a birthday event, and decided to get food and drinks at the bar before going to play. Granted, we were a big table and had a lot of people, so I’m not sure if the long wait to order food and drinks was because of the number of people we had or if the waiters/​waitresses just didn’t want to serve us. Half of us ended up going to the bar to order our drinks because our waitress never showed up for 20 – 30 minutes at a time. The bar, however, wasn’t that much better, because the bartenders were very busy. I had brought an empty cup of water over and asked if I could get a refill whenever she was free, and after talking to my friends for a bit, I turned back and the cup was just gone! Never got that cup of water.
The activities themselves were pretty good. The rides are meant for kids, but adults can really have a good time too. I think the laser tag is really fun compared to other laser tag places I’ve been to. It’s pretty big, well ventilated, and has good music. The only bad thing was that some of the players’ scores did not register after the games. Plus, you have to wait a long time if you get in line late (we arrived at 930 and they said the next available slot was 1120).
The worst was finding out that our friends were pretty much refused service at the bar after we were done with the games and laser tag. They had gone to the bar and requested drinks, and the bartender was busy with someone else, but after serving those around my friends, she told my friends to wait and then walked away to talk to another bartender/​waiter and to get a glass of water. This was after the busy crowd was gone from the bar!
Overall the games are fun, especially for kids probably, but the attitudes of the people at the bar and manning the games are not the best. I probably wouldn’t go this far for games again.

Came here for a birthday party with a group of adults. Overall, the rides were fun — as long as you don’t set your expectations for thrill too high. Laser tag was also fun. Standard laser tag field. Some of the vests didn’t even show the player’s score at the end though. Bummer.
The one thing that makes this place a two star establishment is the inefficiency and rudeness of the bar staff. Our party attempted to order drinks both before and after riding the rides. The first time around, the bartenders were slow to get to us. Ok. That’s fine. It was pretty busy at the bar.
The second time around, one of my Indian friends stood at the bar and waited for maybe 20 minutes to be served before we finally gave up and left. If it had been busy at the bar, then that would have been excusable. But the bartenders blatantly served all the Caucasian patrons before us. They then made a vague gesture for us to wait, proceeded to sip their water, and never came to serve us.
We finally decided to just leave and bring our group to another local bar.
I doubt we will ever be coming back to this establishment for a birthday gathering again. You should also be wary about coming if you expect to be served at the bar in a timely fashion. Completely disrespectful bartenders.

I can’t believe I’m giving this place a 4-​star review, but I really think it deserves it. And no, I’m not just saying that because I got to shake hands with the immortal Hulk Hogan here the other day.
Anyone who has ever had to suffer through a single hour at a Chuck E. Cheese, I’m talking to you: a trip to iPlay America is like discovering the promised land compared to that. Immaculately clean, well organized, smartly operated, large and spacious, with lots of things do for kids and adults of all ages, and all at a relatively decent price point… iPlay America really gets it right.
Remember Bowcraft? I recall going to Bowcraft a couple of years ago, mostly out of morbid curiosity, and it was so run down and scary that I would barely even let my kids touch the games or ride the rides. Even more recently I had to break my rule of not attending kiddie birthday parties to chaperone my kids to an event at the aforementioned Chuck E. Cheese in Edison. God, what dumps these places are. It doesn’t surprise me one bit when I read about knife and gun fights breaking out in these hellholes. And even the more halfway decent kids villages and indoor playgrounds are generally run down and dirty. It’s hard to find a safe, clean place to take your kids for a few hours of fun and games.
But a lot of money was obviously invested in iPlay America. I believe this space used to be a Pathmark, if you can believe it. No detail has been missed here. They have put a ton of work into creating a fun and festive environment that tries mightily to duplicate a boardwalk and carnival-​like experience, only all indoors. It’s like a tiny little slice of Disney in New Jersey.
For as big as the place is, though, there aren’t a ton of rides. But for little kids, it’s just fine. They manage to also pack in an entire two-​floor laser tag arena and a nicely-​sized go-​kart track, so you can’t easily run out of things to do here. All this, and there’s still room for a full service bar and restaurant, concert and event halls, candy stores, pizza shops, funnel cake stands, and a ginormous arcade.
So take my advice and avoid the grime and crime of other places. Try iPlay America instead. Otherwise you’re going to hell for being a bad parent.

This review is for the bar area only. A group of my adult friends went to iPlay on a Saturday night. I knew they’d have a bar area but to my disappointment you couldn’t take any drinks out of the bar area. And that’s why this review is of the bar only. Plus one to Dave and Busters for letting you sip and play.
So the main reason for the low review is what happened to my friend. She had a tab open and had to leave her credit card at the bar. They gave her credit card to another customer closing out their tab! A random person walked out with her credit card. Long story short, it was an accident and the person who left with my friend’s card realized it and came back. No charges were made but the damage was done. My friend had to cancel her credit card because that person could have still copied down all her info.
The manager was extremely apologetic and alerted us of the situation right away when it happened. She picked up the tab as well. I’m not sure how often this happens with tabs at bars but this is my first time experiencing it firsthand. It was terrifying and a headache.
Issues aside, both the draft beer list and bottle list were very limited. I see no good reason to return.
