A good friend of mine lost his Mother the other day and I was looking for a deli to deliver some food to their house. When I called Rosario’s Tommy answered the phone and was very helpful in suggesting what would be appropriate for our situation. Within two hours they delivered a platter of sandwiches, salad, bread and pans of hot food right to my friend’s home. I’ve received two phone calls over the past two days from my friend raving about the quality of the foods and thanking me for my kindness. I just wanted to thank Tommy and the rest of the folks at Rosario’s for their efforts and their kindness. Great job!

This is by far my favorite place for food. It’s a great family owned business and everyone is warm and friendly. They expanded and we had our sons 1st birthday party in the room and it was wonderful. We were well taken care of. We always feel like family when we walk in. The sandwiches are tasty and the home made breads and meals are delicious.

Delicious take out. Chicken parm and penne with Vodka sauce were outstanding! Husband called it «awesome!» Lasagna on the re-heat at home menu for tomorrow. The woman behind the counter was super-friendly and helpful. Since it was my first time there she offered a free cannoli with my order. I will be back — over and over.

Where do I start. Mostly everything about New Jersey makes me homesick about Brooklyn. But this place is like going back with out the long drive. It’s in the same league as Defontes or Tony’s. A true family run business. The owner works as hard if not harder than his employees. And the guy has zero tolerance for something not done right. What a pleasure! The sandwiches are so neat and well made that is almost a shame to eat. But what can one do. They are so professional that is hard to distinguish who is family and who is the employee. If you buy cold cuts, make sure to notice how well packed they do it. Every slice is in perfect order. Wow, I just don’t have enough good things to say about them. I’m not going to tell what you should try. Just try everything. But be careful, it’s addictive and there’s no cure.

We love their subs! Best bread in town. The soup is also great. They are really nice people also.

Fabulous! We loved every dish we had from this place. The chicken with string beans in balsamic is a must try, as is their eggplant parmigiana. Then again, every thing in their is a must try, not only if you happen to be in the area. Worth travelling to, they have a spotless area where you can eat in the store.

I try and frequent this place whenever I’m in the area. It might just be the best Italian sub I’ve ever had. Quality meats and cheeses, topped with good oil & vinegar, and surrounded by the most delicious bread they bring in from NY. Never a disappointment! Everything is always fresh and they always have a wide variety of prepared dishes like soups, salads, and full on Italian entrees available. I try and get the rice balls when they have them. BANGIN’ GOOD! The people are super friendly and get you in and out fast if you’re in a rush. Don’t miss out on this one if you’re in the area.

I walked into this establishment during the course of my job today. I walked into a family-oriented establishment who treated me like one of their own. I ordered a sandwich which look like something that my grandmother would make me. I definitely know when I’m back in Freehold where I’m going to eat

Delicious. Italian deli with fresh products that will not disappoint. I had the Italian combo sub on my first visit, was so good had to get it again on my second try. Will deffo try another menu selection and update y’all after another visit. The one star is left off cause the potato salad in the reach in fridge is not my taste, too sweet, maybe they added sugar?

Sub had very little meat and cost $ 16 for a whole. When I asked the owner about it, he told me they weigh the meat. Weigh the meat? Are we counting pennies or making good subs? All those great subs you get in NY, you think the guy looks at his creation to determine it’s a good sandwich or weighs it?

There is no place in the area like Rosario’s. Its a deli and they do have a few tables. Good food, prices are fair and their sandwiches are terrific. Trust me if you eat here, you will not leave hungry. Definitely order their pepperoni or sausage or spinach bread during the holidays, it is extremely tasty! My favorite sandwiches are the imported Italian and the Italian«sub». Also, their pasta e fagioli is worth the visit alone! Highly recommended.
