As a kid growing up they always had the best pizza. Nothing had changed in almost 13 years still the best in town hands down. Ice cream is still great also.

Been going here over a year now with my family for ice cream. All the workers are so nice, and very patient with my little ones. The aren’t chincy with the scoops either, it is well worth the purchase. It’s a great place to relax outside in the summer and enjoy a scoop of Happy Camper!!!

Large selection of Ice Creams to choose from ranging from the classic pecan to the odd coffee lovers. Good selection of cones to choose from as well as a cup or hand as was just offered. Staff is very friendly and will joke with you.
The place also acts as a stop and shop so you can pick up a six pack if that is your cup of tea.

Lots of Mooney’s ice cream. Lots of different beer. Chips, pop, everything else. Get there before 10:00, they close early because of the township regulations.

Great selection of ice cream flavors, customer service is usually friendly. There is a nice outside patio that I recommend sitting at if weather permits. A great little store.

On a hot Michigan summer evening, The Dairy is the best place to cool off and feel like a kid again in Freeland. They offer tons of flavors (my favorite is Superman), various cones and toppings and even shakes. Also offered at the Dairy — tacos, beer, and other typical party store loot.
The line can be long on a summer night, but the employees typically move fast and it’s worth the wait. There is seating outside which is nice for customers to enjoy their sweet treats as the sun is finally going down.
