I was exploring Whidbey Island and saw a sign posted for a beach — heaven on Earth, to me — so I went to check it out.
Turns out that Possession Beach is a boat launch, nothing more. There’s nothing else there, at all, and there isn’t a beach at all. It’s just a boat launch to the water. There aren’t restrooms or a port-​a-​potty even. There’s no one there either.
If you’re looking for a boat launch, then this will work for you, but if you need help you’ll be on your own.
If you are looking for a beach or a park, keep going.
