Stayed here with family for a weekend of shopping. .Overall the experience was good. Rooms were quiet and clean. Renovations a bit on the DYI side… but the rooms were comfortable. .I would suggest for the to use little pond as a ice skating rink for guest with kids in the winter as an added perk… price was good

Cheaply constructed and appointed, bad mattresses, thin walls, hear the noise from the hall. Water was stopped up in our sink. The only thing I can say is it’s kind of clean. Would I stay here again? NO! It’s a cheap place trying to compete with better lodgings, charging far more than the place is worth. It’s a place where as other lodgings fill up at night they come over here looking for lodging. Coffee maker in the room is broken too.

We have been happy here attending year after year. Sadly, something went amiss this year. New, inexperienced management doesn’t understand the importance of customer satisfaction. We checked in on 7⁄17 having made our reservations back in May with a website picture depicting the main building overlooking the pool, pond and fountain which we have enjoyed year after year. We arrive to find we have been placed in the separate building down the highway overlooking the marsh. Specifically requested non– smoking, no pet rooms due to severe allergies. We asked to be placed in rooms in the main building– to be told there are no vacancies. Called the reservation number which put us in contact with the headquarters reservation desk. Pleasant person seemed to understand our disappointment stating that she could help us. A few minutes later, received a call from manager who DID have two rooms in the main building after all, thankfully. We had not moved into the originally assigned rooms as we were calling other local inns. We returned to the lobby where we were told the new rooms were only available through Thursday(despite our original reservation being through Sunday) and there was not a discounted price even though we were not placed in rooms with a view as had been confirmed in the emails received. We will be reviewing our options, and, hopefully Best Western will be able to rectify this disappointing reservation situation.

The lobby’s small, but clean. The staff are friendly. The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable. The rooms need a bit of updating. The only problem that we had is that you can hear people walking up and down the hallways(I mean, really hear people walking up and down the hallways) so ask for a room that’s not by the front door.

Friendly staff, easy access & clean pool. Booked on priceline for $ 116 which was a bit more than I think is warranted for this hotel, but I was happy with my stay. –1 star for cleanliness of the room. On the surface it looked immaculate, however the refrigeration seal in my room was moldy, and the air conditioner filter hadn’t been cleaned in forever, it was spewing out dust into the room.

BOF! Ceci n’est pas un hotel. Ceci est un motel. Un grand motel. Aucun charme. Service minimum. Confort de base. Évitez l’annexe, moins bien, pour le même prix.

I stayed here for 3 nights and it’s a good basic hotel. Big clean bathroom and room. The toiletries are less than desired, so I went to he nearby grocery store to get my supplies. However, you can hear footsteps from people upstairs and ask for a river/water view to avoid loud traffic noise. The café opens at 6am and is a bit pricey, but staying at hotel provides 15% discount, so that helps. Their is a nearby Gourmet Inn(next to the big Indian statue) that offers breakfast and lunch options too. There are couple bars close by such as Wine place next to big Indian statue and McGrittys(awesome microbrewery). It’s a short drive to main part of Freeport with it’s many outlet shopping and LL Bean.

We needed a pet friendly hotel new town and found this place online. When we arrived early the day of check in, we were told the room would be ready in a couple hours at about 2 and they would call us the second it was ready. We headed to the town center to walk around and take our dog out to stretch his legs. At 2:01, we got a call that the room was ready. We headed back, got our keys and went to the room(bottom floor on the front). It was much nicer than we anticipated. It was very bright and inviting. The carpet was still slightly moist from a fresh cleaning. There were no scents, stains, fur or any other way to tell it was a pet friendly room. The room was surprisingly quiet all night and the next morning. The area to walk your pet to take care of business was very large. The staff were all very nice and friendly. I don’t have one bad thing to say about this place. We will definitely be staying here from now on when we bring our dog with us.

Freeport Inn is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast or brunch where locals meet, eat and mingling with some of the guests at the adjacent Best Western. It’s located in Freeport ME but right on the boundary line with Yarmouth on Route 1. I prefer the Freeport Inn to eating at some of the upscale pricey places in downtown Freeport. We had breakfast there today Nov. 7th, at 12 noon, the place was busy, service was prompt and our omlettes were perfect, coffee refills were offered regularly. This is a nice place to meet up with friends, just like home. Atmosphere is cheery like being in your Aunt’s kitchen. Open hours of service vary so call ahead, for example, the restaurant closed today, Sunday, at 2PM. Freeport Inn is a good Mom and Pop breakfast-brunch eating place.

We had a delicious dinner at the Muddy Rudder and a fabulous breakfast at the Freeport Café. Clearly Freeport is lacking in breakfast options… anyone we asked only suggested the café but it was a great recommendation. The food and service at both restaurants was top notch.
