I live in the City and love, love, LOVE coming here whenever I’m traveling through Freeport. I’m completely fascinated by all of the weird stuff I know is utterly mundane to someone who lives on a farm. How can you not like the candy aisles, the sturdy clothes you can buy and not feel bad about trashing when you’re working in the yard, and the huge selection of little farm toys??? I’ve also bought more than an occasional sack of chicken feed for my urban flock (there’s always room in the car for a sack of feed…) which is why I originally stopped in here. My rural friends laugh at my love affair with this store but I don’t care — it’s the cat’s ass!!!

Not the kind of place you’d think to go to get stuff other than tools and such, but I have found some GREAT deals on clothes and kitchen items here! They usually have a big clearance section of clothing and small kitchen appliances. Hello $ 10 Coffee pot! :)
