Pizza was good for a quick stop on a windy day. Someone in my party was very interested in the specialty beer 6 packs in the middle of the room. She asked a few different people that were working and they all said they weren’t old enough to sell the beer so they couldn’t tell what the price was. Weird that no one in there could sell it, and the sales are just lost? I would go back for the pizza.

When in Freeport — I always go here. Other sandwich shops abound — this is the local place. Long time locally owned family place. A few tables but most orders are take out. Ice cream available from late Spring — late Fall. good subs, pizza.

Service was friendly, quick, and accurate. Tuna sub, veggie sub, and pizza were all enjoyed by my group. This was an enjoyable option to have a simple meal with great service and fair pricing.

Went to Derozier’s and ordered a pizza. It was just ok. The crust was pretty bland and the sauce was not very good. The ice cream, however was really good. If you’re looking for awesome pizza, this is not the place. I would definitely recommend the dark chocolate rasberry ice cream. Will try the sandwiches next visit.

This place has great sandwiches. I tried the pastrami and it was amazing. My wife ordered the veggie sandwich and it was delicious. I will come back to this place. Plus, it looks like it has tons of history.

Update– been trying to give them a chance. Most of the employees do not struggle to smile, and do not look visibly pained when serving customers– except for the redhead with glasses. Wow. I walked in, smiled, said hello, and she stared blankly at me. I glanced at the menu, starving after a day at the beach, and she had her eyebrows furrowed at me, sighing anxiously. I asked her in a very concerned tone, «Is everything alright?» She glared further and said curtly, «I’m just waiting for YOU to order.» I looked at her and said, «I’m not going to order anything anymore. Thank you for ruining this for me.» The owner was RIGHT there and did nothing. Some of the employees are awesome, and I will only go in when they are present. One has dark hair and she’s always friendly, the guy is hilarious, and the girl with blondish red hair is super nice and caring. When the nice people are working, the experience is so much better. The mean redhead has has an attitude every single time– it’s a choice to be miserable! Life is too short to be mean… and to put up with mean people.

Went for four stars since 3.5 wasn’t there. Definitely better than a chain pizza to us!

Really good lobster rolls(with plenty of tail meat) which are reasonably priced($ 11.99 in Sept 2014). I’ve been there about 5 or so times… and plan to continue to return.

I come here all the time. From pizza to sandwiches. I love it. I would suggest to call ahead. Not that it’s busy all the time just easier if you are getting it to go. Seating is limited and more over the summer, but that’s only because of the seasonal Ice Cream. Really the best in town price and personally a little better then B&J. And I would suggest a Moxie Float. For pizza don’t bother with extra cheese they put tons on to begin with. Any of the toasties and the chicken salad sandwich are delicious!

Pizza is mediocre, but service is fantastically awful. When we walked in the only free table was rather dirty. It was cleaned off for us when we asked, but we did have to ask. The two young women who were running the place really had no personality. We were overcharged by a few dollars but when we asked about it, she said it was right and my husband didn’t want to push the issue. But there is no way it was right. I ordered thin crust but my pizza looked the same as my husband’s in term of thickness, so either she forgot or their thin crust is not very thin. After our pizza we wanted to order gelato. When I walked over to the gelato counter, one of the girls was taking all the scoops out of the gelato in an effort to clean up. They close at 9 and it was 8:35 on the Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend, and there were other people in the place, also ordering ice cream! I said, «Oh, we were actually going to order some of that.» and the girl actually shot me a look of death before grudgingly saying«Ok.» This was the icing on the cake of a pretty bad dining experience.

Lobster Roll! Plump with fresh meat; plenty of mayo, but not too much. Well mixed. How can you beat this for $ 7.99? Add a small bag of chips and a small drink for $ 9.95? Small little market, they also sell ice cream. Smack in the middle of the outlets on Route 1. Give it a try, you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
