You can never knock Patagonia for their quality, but I was a little bit disappointed that I didn’t find better deals on their outerwear in this outlet setting. They had a storewide 30% sale going on(with a few exceptions) but the only jacket I cared about listed at just over $ 400. Even with the discount that still made it a little bit pricey for my pocket. Guess I’ll have to wait and pick something up at the KTP for a better bargain.

The deals are great, but the place is SUPER small and a squeeze with so many people shopping. With only a few dressing rooms, everyone is scrambling to try on jackets and other items while on the sales floor. I love their stuff, but they could use a bigger space.

Located in the Freeport mall this place is filled with 2 floors of merchandise. Prices are very low here, I haven’t seen lower anywhere even online. Return policy is great too, you can return anywhere there is a Petagonia Store with no questions asked. They do charge 25c here for a bag so that the donation goes to Maine Wildlife Society. Extreme friendly staff here also. there is also the Petagonia footwear store just down the block from this one. I been using their products for a long time and I am very satisfied.

I love Patagonia clothes, but I hate the prices. This is one of the few, real outlet stores in Freeport, where they sell overstocks and seconds at a significant discount. They also have this season’s stuff at full price, so take a good look around and make sure you got a good deal.

Check their prices against their website– I found something significantly cheaper online. Decided not to get it but I imagine they probably would have matched the price had I asked. $.25 for a bag. 3 stars because not a great store but I love Patagonia.

Light Weight Heavy Duty Ski Jacket: Originally $ 350 Sale Price: $ 59.95 Fleece Vest: Originally $ 70 Sale Price: $ 19.95 Maine Sales Tax: 3% Total price of purchase: $ 82.29 In CA, I would have paid, at the least, $ 453.60 for these two items at a normal store, with CA sales tax(yes, I, too, think that $ 30+ for sales tax is absurd!). Outlet wins. I love you, Patagonia Outlet.
